Another sin of mine, containing hopefully mostly fluff. That's the plan at least, but y'all know me. I'm a sucker for some angst.

Weekly updates on Monday or Wednesday. What is Eddy, a shy introvert musician like himself, going to do with his crush for a playboy like Brett? And what is his story behind his attitude anyway? A Breddy TwoSet Violin Fanfic, set in an Alternative Universe. What to expect: Sweetness, some troubles, NSFW, some talk about sexual abuse and bad relationships. But don't worry: it all ends well, because lets face it: I'm a sucker for happy endings. About the music: I love classical music, but also VNVnation (=alternative electronic music a pure-Brett musician might not be able to listen to). His (Ronan Harris) lyrics do things to me, giving me images when I listen to them. So I decided to include them. Feel free to also give the music a chance. You might hate it, you might like it. Brett and Eddy are their own persons, they might or might not be together. I just hope they are happy. This story is just a figure of my own imagination. Can't help it because they would make such a good couple and I love them for it.

It was the first day Brett went busking; it was the first time Eddy played a violin: they didn't know their lives were about to change forever. Alternative universe set in 1800, in which Brett and Eddy are two children from the lower classes of society. written 13/12/2020 published between 02/04/2021-11/06/2021 (Just to clarify because I know it's not the same in every country: day/month/year)

Well-known as an indifferent and cold man, nobody dares approach him for small talks, let alone asking to be his teacher. He would really like to be one but no one was brave enough to ask him. Until one day, a violinist who is only a year younger than him aspires to be a soloist. Edward Chen asks for him to be his teacher. He was the only one brave enough to ask, so Brett does not hesitate. Both slowly fall for each other. They know that they cannot be together because they're both men and that was illegal in their time. What would they do? Do they continue their love and risk their lives or do they risk their love and continue living peacefully?

For Eddy, his friendship with Brett is irreplaceable. He can't ever risk losing something that important, whether his own stupid selfish feelings have a say in it or not. Unfortunately for him...the universe seems to be hell bent on making his affections for Brett nearly impossible to ignore. Not even ling ling can save him from the emotional turmoil he's about to face and boy, is he going to need all the mental willpower he can get!

Turns out you can miss someone terribly, even if they're just across the room. * * a/n: Most of the story takes place in 2020/21, and while I strove to stay true to real-life events/ timelines, there may be instances where creative license presides. First time writing something like this and also not an English native speaker, so if you find any errors, I'm happy for feedback. When Eddy told him he liked boys, Brett honestly didn't think much of it. Eddy was still Eddy, and there was nothing to talk about. In which Brett and Eddy are roommates [insert 'omg, they were roommates' meme] at university, and Brett has to suddenly deal with very confusing feelings he has about the idea of his friend dating guys. May seem like it's cut in weird places, that's because it was originally written as one, without any chapters. Inspired by one article that went viral on the internet.
