Naruto looked up at the man, he was shaking, his whole tiny body was visibly shaking in fear and shock. He looked up and his face darkened in fear. His eyes grey like the dark moon shining at the dark blue sky, wich was filled with millions of shining stars. A look up to the sky would make anyone smile. Even the Uchiha. It's almost been a year since the Fourth Great Ninja War ended and things are pretty boring in Konoha. Naruto rarely sees his friends anymore, with Sakura training to become a better medical-nin all the time and Sasuke being confined to his own apartment under constant watch. When interdimensional activity is discovered far, far south, in the middle of the ocean, Kakashi unites the Konoha 11 + Sasuke and sends them off on an adventure to check it out. Having the group back together again is totally weird, but much more exciting than anything else going on. The group travels the seas in search of a new potential villain, while also dealing with the repercussions of the past war. Things have changed since they were young, and moving on from them is the bravest thing they can do. Also- Naruto has a major epiphany about someone.

After Naruto dies on the mission to Wave, where Haku's fatal blow ends his life, he finds himself in an unfamiliar realm, where he meets Kaguya, the ancient and powerful wielder of chaos magic. Sakura's death happened as a result of her two teammates' fight to the death. Naruto's attempt to change Sasuke wasn't going as expected, and now they were about to kill each other with their final blow. Naruto's intention had been to let Sasuke win and pierce through his body. But Sakura witnessed this whole thing and jumped between. It was a sickening feeling. Seeing two of the most important people in her life trying to kill each other. It was terribly wrong. In the spur of the moment, she flickered between them and took on their blows. It was abrupt and so quick that it felt like a dream. Except the pain was real. But she knew one thing for sure. She would do it over and over again if she had to. Because she wanted to protect them. That was supposed to be the end. But then she's startled awake by their Academy teacher and finds that she's returned to her twelve year old self. A seventeen year old in a twelve year old's ody.
