"Will I ever find out why you call me Rose? That's not my name." I asked him playfully. "You are my "Rose". Beautiful and gentle to look at, but touching you hurts me." He answered seriously. "Why would it hurt you to touch me?" I asked him a little scared. "Because I know that when we are alone I can do it, but as soon as we appear in the light of the world, it becomes forbidden for me. And looking at someone who is forbidden to you without being able to touch them, hurts like hell."

"I knew if I wanted a relationship, I should find someone else. But I didn't want anyone else and I still don't." I managed to take his arm from around my waist without waking him up. Sighing with relief I was about to move closer to the edge of the bed but he grabbed me again, muttering something in his half asleep state. I tried to release his grip again but he woke up, grinning as soon as he seen me. His sleepy blue eyes looked at me. "Where are you going?" his grin widened. "I have to go." I whispered quietly, looking around the room. I really did have to go, I was supposed to be staying away from him wasn't I? The sun hadn't come up yet, it was still in the early hours of the morning. "Don't go." He groaned, pulling me in closer and squeezed my waist. I could sense his smile as he kissed my forehead. I didn't know what to do, his arms were more than inviting and I really didn't need a lot of convincing but I was starting to get tired of this secret thing again. Sure, Eric and I got along great, I really enjoyed his company but was it really worth lying to everyone about? What happens when wallflower Florence and jock Eric decide to keep what's between them a secret? Can Florence really not get herself too attached and keep herself from getting hurt? And there I stood, with my mouth wide open, my hands shaking, and my legs frozen. My boss looks up from his victim that is laying dead at his feet before wiping his bloodied hands on his shirt. As he saunters over to me, with a devilish hint in his eyes, all I could think about was how freaking pissed I was for my own body betraying my mind when it told me to run. I take a deep breath and close my eyes as he reaches his red stained hands towards my face, knowing this could be my last moment on Earth. Bracing myself for death to happen upon me, I clench my eyes shut tighter and curse myself for not being more brave. You might be wondering how I've ended up in this situation. His smirk was replaced by a serious expression. His eyes were so dark and captivating, I couldn't look away. "And you know what they say, speedy?" He continued as his eyes flickered towards my mouth. I shook my head and his smirk was back. "Keep your friends close. But-" He clenched his jaw. "Keep your enemies closer."

"Why the hell won't you just admit it?!" I yelled at him. "Admit what?!" He asked. "The REAL reason why you don't want to be with me! It's cause I'm too fat and cause I'm white and you are so afraid as to what your friends might think, aren't you?!" I snapped at him. "You don't know shit!" He snaps right back at me. "Oh no? Why can't you just tell me? I can take the rejection!" I snap again at him. He starts stomping his way over towards me and raises both my hands against the wall and above my head as he leans in closer to me just inches from my lips. "You think I don't want to be with you because I'm too embarrassed because of how big you are or that your white? You really think I could give two shits as to what anyone including my friends think about us? Well I don't. I could give two shits about what anyone thinks! So stop fucking assuming you know me or what I'm thinking cause you don't!" He fires back at me. "Well then what is it then huh?" I asked. "You wouldn't understand. But do me a favor and stop pretending that you know me when you don't." He says.
