His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. Keith was the red paladin of small group called "the paladins of Voltron." All his life he assumed he was a human as that's what he was told. Things are revealed and turns out he isn't what he thought he was.. In space there was an intergalactical war between two alien races, the galra and the alteans. Both have one thing in common, when a kid is born until they reach the age of 25 in human years they are classified as a kit, or a baby. Keith happened to be this mix and the possible end to this crazed out war. With his instincts suppressed things could only get worse from where they started. He had to learn how to grow up quickly as he was in the foster care system from a young age, causing his suppressed instincts. What would happen if he met other people like him? His own kind? Allura and The White Lion have fused, and the Paladins leave Oriande behind. Everyone has admitted to themselves that Shiro has changed a lot. Pidge believes she knows what's up...but she must bear several life-threatening injuries to prove it. Nothing to big for a Paladin of Voltron, right? Sadly Haggar knows what the youngest is after...and she must prevent it from happening. In any way she can. Oh, there's one more thing...Keith has a family which is alive. NOT a Klance book. This means that he was the only one who found out he was half Galra. He decided that it would be best to keep it a secret from his friends, fearing how they would react. When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. Will Lance ever find out if Keith still fancies him like before? Why was Keith injured and who is this stranger who won't leave his side? (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story.
