Have you ever wondered what Ash's journey would be if he were in Galar? Well, I'm creating my own rewrite to imagine what that would be like. The plot is about a ten-year-old boy named Ash Ketchum and his first partner named Pikachu, who travels to a new region called Galar. His goal is to challenge Leon, the unbeatable champion. Galar is home to its strong and competitive trainers, so the road will be a challenge for him. Ash is also traveling with two companions: a young adult woman named Sonia, who is also the granddaughter of Professor Magnolia; and a boy named Hop, who's Leon's Younger Brother and share the same goal from Ash of dethroning Leon. Together, the trio travels to the first section of Galar, meeting new trainers and Pokémon and learning about Galar history and secrets. Y/n left her home with Riolu long ago, to relieve her poor family of having to feed too many people. While in floods of tears, she met the spirits of two ancient Pokémon, one granted her the ability to communicate with Pokémon, and the other who granted her the power of Pokémon moves and abilities. Seven years later, the other mons of the forest encouraged her to rejoin human society, but people weren't so accepting of her and the newly evolved Lucario. They either fear her capabilities, or want her power their selves. Leon, the champion of galar heard tales of fear towards someone who held the terrifying power of Pokémon, and was sent to investigate. He eventually begins to see that she is nothing to fear, but a kind-hearted girl looking for acceptance. Cassandra came to Galar running from a past she couldn't bring herself to face. Leon was running from his failure, and enemies that either wanted him on their side or dead. Be it fate or destiny, their meeting during a blizzard in the mountains was the start of a journey neither of them expected. The ending, however, is on a path wrought with danger. It's going to take everything they have to stop the madmen proclaiming themselves Kings and seem to bear some grudge against the legendary Warrior Pokemon who stopped Eternatus for a second time not long ago... But first, they have to survive the cold. Post-Pokemon Sword AU (heavy), slight slow burn. Updated weekly (Some chapters mature. Cover by me!) -------------- Some notes: 1. I don't follow typical battle format of the game. I try to be realistic and write how I feel fighting would go in the real world (i.e. no turn taking and Pokemon can act without commands if trained enough). 2. I overall try to be realistic about the world, too. Like Pokemon eating Pokemon and people eating fish/bird Pokemon (i.e., Farfetch'd, poor thing). 3. Heavily AU. I basically take the post-game plot and run with it, making it a lot darker and more intense. I always thought it was such a silly plot line so yeah xD 4. Romance is cheese because I like cheese. This is actually my first mainly romance focus to go with adventure. It's kinda slight slow burn, but still happens kinda quick! 5. I don't know all canon history of regions perfectly so I take some liberties here and with other games' stories I involve, so also some heavy to light AU's for those games/areas, too! 6. Leon's character is my interpretation of things with my own spin on it, too, so sorry if he's a bit OOC? 7. Eventual smut towards the end, you're welcome. Y/n L/n has became Galar's Fire Type Gym Leader after taking Kabu's place. Motostoke Gym is quite a great place although Y/n and their Pokémon can usually be found in Wyndon with a few friends. Y/n's team consists of their Pokémon partner Houndoom, Volcarona, Talonflame and Typhlosion. All Pokémon are quite strong. Y/n's best friend being the Galar champion Leon had its benefits of course, always being invited for multiple parties and or getting to go out with him more often than others was amazing. Although Y/n noticed Leon is beginning to act different and invite them out more often, Y/n enjoys spending time with him but doesn't he have anything else to do? When Chairman Rose decides to send out The Darkest Day to make Galar a "better" place what'll happen to the bond both Leon and Y/n share?

I've published this as I've been wanting to create my own story between my character and Kieran for a while, so I thought I may as well publish it for others to enjoy as well. This story also has a very slow plot, their relationship progresses VERY slowly throughout, so if you aren't into slow burns I don't recommend this story. It's been two years since Team Rocket was defeated for good, and months since Ash confessed his love to Serena. The young couple are now Research Fellows with their new friend, Goh, for Professor Cerise in Vermillion City. When they arrive at Galar, they bump into their friend, Coovers of the International Police, who is working on a case for Professor Magnolia. She claims that Chairman Rose is attempting to prevent an energy crisis by using the power of a Legendary Pokemon named the Darkest Day a.k.a. Eternatus. The chairman is aware that if Eternatus's power cannot be contained, it will cause Pokemon to Dynamax and rampage, destroying the Galar region, but he cares little about the danger. Unfortunately, the International Police can't do anything without proof, but then Coovers comes up with a plan to use Timothy's accomplishments as a trainer and his role in stopping Team Rocket to gain Chairman Rose's attention, earn his trust and ultimately lead Timothy to Eternatus, thus getting the proof they need to stop the chairman's dangerous plan. So, with their new companion, Gwen, Timothy, Coovers, and Electchu travel through the Galar region as Timothy competes in the Gym Challenge to impress Chairman Rose. But as the mission goes on, love is in the air. Coovers has developed a crush on Professor Magnolia's granddaughter, Sonia, who may have feelings for him as well. At the same time, Timothy finds himself stuck in a love triangle. One of Chairman Rose's most trusted minions, Ezria Markenel, has developed feelings for him after hearing of his deeds in defeating Team Rocket. At the same time, Gwen begins to adore Timothy, too. Will relationships bloom? Will hearts be broken? And will Chairman Rose be stopped before it's too late?
