Renée Moreau moved from France to London when she was a little girl. Her first and only friend for her first few years in London was Remus Lupin. After falling in love with Sirius Black once, Remus doesn't think he can do it again. The Marauders (plus Lily, of course) all moved in together after Hogwarts, so when the most responsible one announces his desire to go to America, it was a surprise. Of course, how can they say no to Remus? A sweet and fluffy (and angsty, who could forget? but if you've been reading my fics long enough you know i can't write a fic without the angst) fic in which the Marauders realize love isn't quite as far away as they assumed. // 2018

This story is based on JK Rowling's characters from the series Harry Potter. I have done my best to be accurate with both timelines and character portrayals, but of course there will be some changes since this is an alternate universe with some original characters inserted, plus, there is only so much written about the marauder's era. The story takes place in the year 1976, the boys are all in their sixth year, and tensions are high at Hogwarts. Many of the students are already feeling the influence of the Voldemort, and it is causing suspicion and division to run rampant within the walls of the school. Of course James is still battling for Lilly's attention, hoping to prove how much he's matured over the summer months.
