That's insane, or so Brinley had once thought. Brinley Zora, your normal everyday 24 year old video game streamer. She was normal, in every possible sense of the word, or at least she used to be before strange dreams and occurrences started happening to her on a regular basis. Secrets, death, twists and turns, impending doom. All of it to be discovered after shes told her families history. Friendships bonded over generations. Bonded by unseen other worldly forces. Let me be straight up and say, this is extremely unedited. I wrote this in the notepad on my phone a couple years ago when I was in an entirely different place in my life. It's not the best, there are a few holes, but I had fun writing it and I love my characters, so do with this information what you will. If you hate it, don't read it.

My mouth opened and I began to form the words, but not before I was interrupted. A growl reverberated through the very air that surrounded us, a noise so deep and threatening that it paralyzed me for a few seconds. The girl next to me let out a squeal and I swung my head in the direction that it had come from. It was the light-less corner to our left, so pitch black that not even the walls were visible. Whatever the company’s squad was hunting was here, and it was angry. ~ In small town Banff, no one expected life to change from peacefully content. But when night falls, evil lurks in the shadows. The water feels ice cold, freezing every bone and cell in my body. I know that there's something I should remember right now, but I just can't find it in me to care. She sighed and inhaled the cold air of the dark room, snuggling under her covers. The only light illuminating the room was the light from the TV. Everything was going smoothly, until she heard footsteps approaching from the hallway leading to her room. Her room was at the extreme of the hallway. The footsteps stopped right in front of her door-- then a knock on the door could be heard. "Ani" she heard a voice from outside call That was the day Her life changed forever. If she had known how things would turn out, she never would have opened the door for her drunk father to get in. "Come here darling" he had said in a gruff tone and she made her way towards him and rested my hand on his shoulder. A move she regretted her whole life. It felt like her world came crashing down as he did the unthinkable. She had so many sleepless nights due to that worst night of her life. The tension in the house was brewing, but her mother was never really there as she was too busy with her career to notice the changes in her daughter or the cloud of tension that hovered around the house. To top it all up, she was also dealing with bullies in her school. Waking up every morning was something Juanita didn't look up to Everyday she hoped she would not, but to her dismay, fate had other plans for her. Would Juanita be able to get justice for herself?
