Varian (Tangled x OC) *Could easily also be read as a x reader story. Before I tell this story, I might as well preface by saying it's likely that you're more familiar with my older sister, Rapunzel. I'm sure you know the story, princess of Corona, and her incredibly long magical hair with legendary healing powers, stolen away from her family by the villainous mother Gothel and kept locked in a tower far from home. All of Corona for many years grieved over Rapunzel's abduction, and as far as the kingdom knew, the only heir to the throne was gone forever, never to return, leaving no one to proceed their rulers. But little did Corona know, just about four and a half years later I was born. I'm Sabrine, by the way.

Life is going okay for him- he's gotten his first job, and he's actually being taken seriously by everyone- but he can't help but feel like there's something missing. We all know what happened to Varian in the first season of "Tangled: The Series." He became the villain, was defeated by Rapunzel, and thrown into prison for a whole year. Yes, he redeemed himself and returned for the third season, but the lack of his presence was felt by fans everywhere throughout the entire second season of the show. So what would have happened if he had redeemed himself sooner and been there for the gang's life-changing journey throughout the second season? How would he have reacted to all those adventures he missed? Find out in this AU fanfic! You will see how he deals with his still-suspicious friends, his unrequited crush on Cassandra, and his search for a way to free his father. "Next stop, anywhere!" (Note: All rights go to Disney. Meanwhile Cassandra's now endless power rises up, as she swears revenge on Rapunzel for what happened so long ago. The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol. A Tangled the Series Sequel Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding is a week away. But when a earthquake hits, strange things start to happen. It's up to Varian to figure out what. The fate of the kingdom weighs heavily on Rapunzel's shoulders and Varian's past weighs heavily on his. Both have to face their inner demons and mistakes in order to save everyone from a threat that's much bigger than Corona. Aka my dream of a season 4 (but I don't work for Disney so I can be a little darker *insert manical laughter*) Rapunzel and Varian dual POV (Also, I do hope to draw their character designs eventually :)

A Cassarian Story Varian always knew that he cared for Cassandra. But he didn't realize how much until she was gone. Six long years after Cassandra leaves Corona, she finally returns. Varian is overjoyed, but she comes bearing terrible news. A strange dome has encased the Dark Kingdom, trapping its residents within... including Varian's father, Quirin. Traveling with Cassandra, and her unusual accomplice Abhu, to the Dark Kingdom, Varian plans on investigating the dome and freeing his father. But they discover that a terrifying creature there is the source. Nothing is known about this being dubbed the Angst. All hope seems lost, until a journal that once belonged to Abhu's long-lost father sets them off on a whirlwind journey to collect four special orbs in different locations. The goal? Uncovering an ancient mystical cavern that could show them how to defeat the Angst. Will they succeed? Can they work together? Will Cassandra ever reciprocate the love Varian feels for her? All of Infinity lies before them...

On their journey to figure out the mystery of the black rocks that have been plaguing the Kingdom of Corona lately, a group of friends find more mystery, old friends, and best of all, love. Join Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Pascal, Max, Lance, Varian, Ruddiger, and Altair as they end their adventure differently than you would expect. Hi! I'm Hope, and I'll by your narrator for this story. Now, I have no clue what happens, as my Dad has forbidden me from reading ahead as I am just as prone to give out spoilers as Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo are. Couple of disclaimers, uh, everyone except Altair, Mia and the other characters in this story that you aren't familiar with if you've watched the show belong to Tangled: The Series. Basically, it's a really, really good spin-off of Rapunzel's time in Corona between Tangled, and Tangled Ever After. It involves plot-twists and astounding character development and a tremendous amount of heartache for a kid's show. Selina and I highly recommend it.
