First book of the Never Trilogy... As I grew up, my mom would have an explanation for almost everything. Presents at Christmas is Santa. Eggs hidden during Easter is Bunny. Getting quarters for my teeth is Tooth Fairy. Good dreams is Sandman. As I grew up, I stopped believing and my mom gave me new explanations for everything. But I never quite understood Winter. It was the only one that my mom didn't have a magical explanation for. No snow falling or frost forming on windows. I wonder if Winter has a Guardian?

You live a life of solitude and theft, but you can't complain it's the only life you know. One night, you're taken by five strangers who call themselves The Guardians. The Moon has chosen you to become the next Guardian, but no one knows who or what Guardian you are. Pitch Black has risen again with a dark design that involves the moon and world to be consumed into utter darkness.

We know the Guardians. Nicholas St. North, the Spirit of Christmas known as Santa Clause; E. Aster Bunnymund, the Spirit of Easter known as the Easter Bunny; Toothiana the Tooth Fairy; and finally, Sanderson Mansnoozie, the Sandman who went by Sandy. And we all know the newest to join the Guardians being the Winter Spirit, Jack Frost. But what you don't know is that there is another spirit that was part of Guardians to help recruit Jack. Eve Hallows, the Spirit of Halloween. She helps the Guardians in stopping Pitch Black while trying to keep the precious belief in children. Along the way, bonds are formed, and feelings develop. Jack - Jack what? For the life of him, he couldn't remember; his last name, his past, nothing. Even though I've written 4 stories I still have no idea how to write a description. If you've found this book and haven't read pt. 1 and pt.2 then I would suggest doing that.
