In a future where genetic modification and robotic armor suits are commonplace, Katana Wilder just wants peace for herself and her adopted family. She wants to forget her years of training as an assassin and live a normal life. You've just woken in the woods, away from everything you know. You're dazed and confused, unable to comprehend what's just happened. As you are coming to, images flash before your eyes of the last few days. Your parents were taken by the police, you were forced to run, to leave everything behind, to save yourself and your sister. But she isn't here. You panic and look around, you stop. You remember. She too was taken, you are alone. For now. This is what happened to Alexander, his life has just been turned upside down. The year is 2415, the world has both evolved and devolved. It isn't how people imagined. Flying cars, robots in every house, telekinetic pencils. No, they are only in comic books. Self driving cars. No robots in houses, but workhouses instead. Telekinetic pencils... that's possible, if you are gifted with the power of telekinesis. There are dark truths hidden behind closed doors, that only few know. Truths that if they got out, would bring the downfall of the government. A government that has been deceiving people for generations. But they haven't been as careful as they thought, because 100 years ago, one guy found out their secrets. 100 years ago, one guy started the rebellion that would bring about the end. From burning books, rewriting history and breaking human rights, this government will stop at nothing to make it seem that they are doing good. But people have had enough, the secret came out before. It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.

Side Story to The Twins, it's an alternate reality to The Throne. Read if you want, but I suggest you read The Twins first so it makes sense. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Nia is a normal cat shapeshifter, but with huge problems weighing on her. Kill her aunt, or fight to change someone that is extremely evil, and probably can't be changed? She sides with her conscience, and gives her aunt a choice, but whether it's the right one, she will soon find out. This time, her aunt doesn't just want to capture her. She wants Nia's twin sister, Ivy, as well. The urge for power is a strong force, one that takes over too many people. Saber, Nia's connection mate, will do anything for the woman he loves, and her annoying twin sister. But, it gets them all in tricky situations, and huge danger. Who knows how they'll survive this set of problems.

Think you have it rough? Try coming home from school and finding out your father is dead, your foster sister and niece are interplanetary aliens, and so are you. So, it explains why you can change shape and talk to animals, but so can your twin brother, a feline who can fly, who you didn't know you had until he comes to take you to your birth planet so you can be heroes. Then find out that you are actually 100 years old, not 18, and the subject of an even older prophesy. Takes the "Merry" right out of Christmas break. So thinks Nikki Jessop, high school zero, who reluctantly turns into a hero of the Two Planets.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY meets THE HANDMAID'S TALE with a bit of WESTWORLD weaved in Four women, fresh out of a super secret governmental experiment, are dragged back into the laboratory where they lived--to save the world from the specimens they helped produce. It's 2050, and the world--in particular the not-so-United States of America--has undergone a lot of changes. A dictator who refuses to relinquish his presidential power reigns over the country, and humans--especially women--see their rights diminished more and more each day. Some are forced to enter special programs to stay safe from men who seek to harm them, and others accept to be part of freaky experimental trials in back-alley labs for a bit of cash to pay the rent. Four women who participated in one such trial--one *actually* sanctioned by the US government--are coping with their new lives when a member of said lab comes to find them, to let them know that the experiment they participated in has gone awry... and they are the only ones who can help fix it all. *TRIGGER WARNING for gore, violence (especially towards women, but NOT domestic abuse), oppression (to women, mostly), explicit language, possible sexual situations inappropriate for readers under 18. The southern peninsula was taken over by a cult hellbent on either growing their numbers or wiping out sinners, and they want to expand northward. As she helps the northerners fight off the violent cult, she must figure out who she is and how to survive in a harsh, unforgiving world where one slip up will kill you. However, she soon begins to wonder who the real enemy is. They say the Pandora of ancient myth opened her box and doomed humanity, but can this Pandora save it? P.S. At the same time, Boar, who had his home with nothing but ashes, had himself forced to adapt on the same planet, with vengeance towards the one who had been responsible, but at the same time, he didn't want to destroy the land the same way, because he knew he would be no different if he did. Now Mike and Boar, together, have to fight for the sake of the people who are still alive, especially the people they cared about, even if it means sacrificing their own lives to do it!

A dangerous life of hiding in plain sight is nearly impossible to pull off, especially when Sam strays from simple Prominent edicts by dating a woman. Ty's reality begins to unravel and he is forced to new truths, all while coming to terms with the full-force of mechanization and violence that surrounds him.
