Some Davekat cuz I was bored. Basically, Dave likes Karkat. He thinks there's nothing he can do about it, but during Summer Break (wow, so original) they get invited to stay at Eridan's because he has no friends (lol me). Some stuff ends up happening and... yeah... I suck at descriptions... (The title could refer to several things... I'll leave it up to you guys to decide) Also, there will probably be some Erisol and Cronkri in this. Oof I suck. Please read this. I swear the story is better then the description... probably... NONE OF THE IMAGES ARE MINE!!!

Your name is Dave Strider. You're 16 years old. You have an.. Interesting career. ---- 16 year old Dave Strider is a demon hunter with his older brother, Dirk. The Striders became hunters after their Bro died on the job. Karkat Vantas is the new kid. He moved to Houston, Texas after the death of his father to live with his older brother Kankri. He never thought that he'd have to go into hiding with his brother, but here he was.

This is only my second fanfic, so it might not be the best thing ever. Oh, and there WILL be cursing. I'll make one chapter a lemon, if it's requested too. So make sure to comment and give me feedback, or just comment on stuff you think is funny so I know what to have more of. Thanks guys!! :3

Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though, and everyone knows it. Jace has been out to the world since seventh grade and he never got too much trouble from it, which he is thankful for, but he knows he would be okay even if he was bullied harshly. It's just who he is. Alec Walker is a whole other story, however. He is very basic, brown hair, hazel eyes, all-black attire, and he is well-known throughout the school but he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He loves skateboarding and singing, has good grades. There's nothing overly unique about him- except his voice could make angels swoon. Both boys are different but not so different that you'd think they would dislike each other. Well, you would be wrong. They hate each other with burning passions. Sorry- hate is a strong word. They loathe each other with deep burning passions. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be. It could be my shortest with like four chapters, or my longest with thirty or more. You never know. I hope you enjoy it though!)

Karkat needs help in English class, and as it turns out, Dave Strider is all he's got. Typical. Fuck descriptions, just read it (please).

You just moved into a new school. New people, new classes, new life. You hear rumors of demons, but dismiss them. They are just making things up, right? You are already feeling nervous when you bump into someone in the hall. Just your luck you ran into the coolist kid in school. Dave Strider. With his designer shades, cool attitude, charming smile- shit! I think your falling in love, but is this cool kid all he seems?

Dave Strider would never say he was depressed. He was troubled, but he never thought about suicide. That was, of course, until he met Karkat Vantas, who changed his views on the world and on life itself. However, depression is a slippery slope. Will he be able to pull them free from it's grasp? Or will he die trying? If you've ever watch Sala Samobojcow or The Suicide Room, you'll like this. It's not going be be exactly the same, so don't expect someone to die! This is sadstuck so trigger warnings for self harm and language and all that.

Karkat: "I, Karkat Vantas, have a fucked up home life. Sometimes I wonder why my life turned out the way it did, but other times I figure it is because I haven't been the son my mother wanted. Smart, strong, able to socialize.. Like my brother Kankri. He's not here to deal with our father and the abuse now, and it seems it only happened after he left. Oh God, how I wish I could have gone with him." Dave: I really wasn't glad for this move. Who wants to go from Texas to a town in Washington? That was seriously the total opposite of where I was and I, Dave Strider, along with my brother, Dirk, had made such a move. All my life I had been a good kid, as good as sneaking out and strifing on the roof can get. Now, I was a B average student and worked to keep it that way, though by my actions, people would think I flunk every one of my classes.
