A fanfiction about Luigi and King Boo falling in love. (Not part of my "Please Luigi" series or "Reversed Mansion".) Luigi has won a free vacation to the Last Resort by Helen Gravely. He brought Mario, Peach, and 3 Toads with him. Oh, and Polterpup, too. Time skipping to where Luigi wakes up from Peach's screaming. He tried to find Peach and his brother in their rooms, but no one was there. Helen came out of the elevator and showed Luigi what she has done to his friends and brother. Helen was about to trap Luigi into the painting, but Luigi ran for his life. He went down the laundry chute. (I think that's how you spell it idk.) He was woken up by Polterpup licking his face. Luigi got up and wandered around, looking for a Plotergeist. But while he was in the laundry room, he found his old pal, King Boo. But instead of trying to capture him, King Boo was willing to help Luigi. Luigi was confused, but they both felt something for each other... A novel. After mysteriously winning a mansion, Luigi must use his courage and his customized vacuum to fight ghosts and unlock the mansion's secrets in order to look for his brother who has gone missing. *** "...And the grand prize is... a big, haunted mansion?" Luigi isn't used to winning. So when he gets a mysterious letter claiming that he's won an enormous mansion, he naturally gets excited... but there's just one little catch. There's ghosts all over the place, and the house is haunted! To make matters worse, Luigi's older brother, Mario, was last seen going into the mansion and never coming out. Luigi hates ghosts - he's deathly afraid of them, in fact - but he soon discovers it's more complicated than that. According to a kind old scientist living nearby, the mansion doesn't even exist at all! It turns out that this inventor, Professor E. Gadd, has been studying the ghosts for some time - and passes on a useful weapon to help Luigi in his quest. The Poltergust 3000 is no ordinary vacuum: it's a wearable tool capable of capturing specters! Luigi isn't exactly known for his bravery, but he sets out into the dark house to discover the truth. Can he overcome his obstacles - including himself - and find Mario before it's too late? In Evershade Valley, Professor Elvin Gadd is working on some new inventions with some friendly ghosts. However, King Boo appears and destroys the Dark Moon, causing the ghosts to become hostile and forcing the professor to evacuate from the Gloomy Manor. He then sends, Luigi, who helped him out with ghost catching before, to help him capture ghosts once more. Now equipped with the newly-built Poltergust 5000, including other inventions, the Dark-Light Device and Strobulb. Luigi will have to gather up the courage to travel through 5 different haunted mansions this time around in search of the missing Dark Moon pieces, fighting swarms of Boos and ghosts and solving puzzles along his journey. But perhaps there are even darker secrets hiding within the shadows.

Y/N and Luigi have won a mansion in a contest they didn't enter, Luigi's brother Mario has gone missing and it's their job to save him, will they only find ghosts? Or something else? This could also be seen as a Luigi x reader x king boo, since he also has a heart for you, more like an obsession. This is based on the first Luigi's mansion, technically the remake but taking Gooigi out of the picture. No art or pictures are mine.

He starts feeling hopeless and worthless, knowing that no one will ever listen to his problems or care. Does it really matter, though? He's only a shadow anyways, right? However, one night, Mario wakes up to Luigi having another nightmare.
