SHORT STORY It's the year 2030, one decade after Covid-19 was announced a global pandemic. The world is only a shadow of its former self, locked down, quarantined, and rigidly controlled. In this 1st person account, Tom Ryker, an IT specialist fights for his very survival as he evades officers of the new world order and fights to free his fellow civilians from confinement.

Toilet paper runs, face masks, and social distancing bring to mind a turbulent time in our world as a global pandemic sweeps across the planet. Will we survive this time? Or will we remain in a perpetual state of quarantine?

So it's the end of times. So what? People have worried about it since the beginning. We all knew a massive pandemic would eventually wipe us all out. Sure, it wasn't what we all wanted. [ BOOK 1 : COMPLETED ] 2019 is when the pandemic broke, little did they know that the Pandemic was just the beginning of an even bigger threat. Fast forward into the future, the year is 2022, evolved humans walked the earth threatening the world's balance. He's just a regular born with irregular capabilities, will he be able to save everyone? Or will the world face it's imminent destruction?

In a world that has become completely distant from face to face human interaction, people have adapted extremely well to these circumstances. But what happens when the new government begin to gradually bring human interaction back in phases? Four people are about to find out as they become part of the experiments.
