Heaven forbid the wrong person finds this journal. If something is to ever happen to us, I want you to know the truth.

Your father and I are agents for a secret government organization called S.H.I.E.L.D.. My hope is that you will never become involved in their affairs. Our mission is to protect the world. Save lives.

We were sent on a mission about a month ago to take down a Hydra base. You should have learned about them in history, but they are our enemies. Very few remain. With luck, by the time you are reading this, Hydra will be wiped off of the face of the earth for good. During our mission, we came across Hydra's experimentation on a baby. They had not gotten very far with their experiments and the two year old was still perfectly healthy and fully human. We took the baby back to S.H.I.E.L.D with us.

As agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., your father and I have always known that we would never be able to settle down and raise a family. Of course we always have wanted children of our own, but being sent on missions every few months, it would be inconvenient and troublesome. But when we found the baby, we knew that she was our chance at having a family.

That baby was you, Petra.

You gave us the chance to be parents. I pray that you will never have to read this, and that your father and I will be able to tell you ourselves, but I know that in our line of work, there is a chance that we may be gone.

You are a blessing in our lives and we love you very much.

Love,

Mary Parker

Does It Still Look Good?- y/n Stark x Bucky Barnes by Kat48270
12 parts Complete
Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. That's how most would describe Tony Stark. During a trip abroad, Stark meets someone and they have their 'fun' together. But that was all it was to Tony. Fun. Two months later, that same woman finds herself in Starks office telling him the truth. She was pregnant. Tony wanted nothing to do with his unborn. Said that it would 'ruin his business' and then sent the woman away. 24 years later, the Avengers are raiding a Hydra base when Bucky hears a pain-filled scream come from the indoctrination room. He busted through the doors, his gun alight with bullets wedging into everyone but the girl, who was still screaming. He saved her that day. What will their bond grow into? Are you ready to find out? Me, Tony, and Bucky walked through the halls of hydra. Each one contained multiple dead Hydra agents. Tony looked shocked, but I think Bucky knew that I could be this dangerous if triggered. We walked outside and were met with numerous agents, all armed with guns and knifes. There were three tanks behind them, ready to fire at any moment. We all looked at eachother before charging forward. I used the gun that hydra equipped me with to kill them. Bucky used a pistol he took from the Avengers tower, and Tony had his suit. Within the first five minutes, we had disposed of dozens of hydra agents. I kept firing but I felt a warm blow to my stomach. Shit! The Weight of Grief by Kale_Kabbage
12 parts Complete Mature
It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. Resurrected from the dead, check. Thanos dead, check. Wife and daughter thriving, check. He'd never expected to get his life back, that was for sure. He was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid: in agony. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood. Tony couldn't help but question whether he would be able to save Peter from the weight of grief. **NO Starker** Triggers Warnings: Substance Use/Abuse Depressive and/or Suicidal Thoughts/Mentions Rape Threats/Mentions Descriptive Blood/Minimal Gore Some Self-Harm Coarse Language Mental Illness (various) This is a heavier story, so please don't read if you're not comfortable with any of the above triggers. Whoops!: [Peter Parker]

19 parts Complete

Dear Peter, If I could use one word to describe my life it would be simple six letters. Whoops. Accidents happen all the time, but I'm a klutz so it all makes sense. I was an accident and now I'm here. I was accidentally adopted into the weirdest family ever (gee thanks Dad). An accident caused Uncle T to be in the hospital, where you accidentally were. Where our eyes accidentally met. And we became accidental friends. Wouldn't it just be a crazy coincidence if I just accidentally fell in love with you, too? Signed, Well, I guess you already know. <3
