Kinda on two if you don't know of what happened to Hiccups mother. This will mostly follow the story line. No I'm not going to straight up make Astrid a jerk to the reader. No, because that is out of character for her. Also I will be putting in my own types of dragons. Only three. Marley(Wind) Cutters, Feather Wings, and Prodigious(tall) dragon. On the island of Dumais, a baby was sent across the sea as her homeland was engulfed by war. A woman, rather a mother, traveled with the baby girl. The two sailed across stormy seas before landing on an island called Berk. This island is were the baby grew and found herself with mixed feelings for the dragon beast and for a certain boy, rather the Chiefs son. Only things don't turn out the way she thought after that one night.

Eydis Ayston was just a normal girl- Besides one thing: She lived alone on an island with her Deadly Nadder, named StarSong. One day she comes across an old friend of hers. And meeting new friends causes more trouble than you might think... Eydis meets a boy named Hiccup and his friends. They are fascinated that she managed to befriend and train a dragon of her own. They weren't aware that was something people did outside of their home village, Berk. But when Eydis finds out that her old friend Dagur is the enemy of Hiccup and the gang, she is torn between who to choose. To make matters worse, Hiccup and Eydis make a life-changing discovery, which they both need to come to terms with before moving on. A story about Hiccup and Astrid on Berk. They are now 21. Takes place after httyd 2. This is my first story ever so please don't hate. Sorry if I have some bad grammar or spelling mistakes. I am here to please some. So enjoy :) Inspired to write this story from all the hiccsrtid stories that I have read that are amazing. Unfortunately, it can't be a complete paradise. A job was in order. You had enough money to start off in apartment for a month, but you needed to keep the money coming in. You applied to a waitress at a little cute cafe. It wasn't much but it was enough to have a roof over your head and food on your plate. One day during a work day at the cafe, you met one of the regulars who always needs his daily dose of coffee. There was nothing rude or appalling about the guy. Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.
