Sneak Peak to the first chapter.: Snow fluttered down as the pup trotted alone, nose to the ground. She didn't know her true destination was. But all she knew was that she had to be back at her owner's side. She remembered a strange man grabbing her and taking her away from her owner's side in a park one day, but tried to remember why they were in the park in the first place. Her tail was tucked between her legs and her hackles raised, the cute Golden Retriever felt so lost. ----- This story is about loosing someone you loved and eventually getting them back. This is filled with different emotions. How a very special bond between a dog and a visually impaired person would be never broken. ------ Phoenix was not just your typical dog. She had a special job, guiding her owner Ellie along. She would protect her at all costs. But one day, Phoenix gets dognapped and held in a cage for five months. Ellie sent out search parties and even Nixie's dog friends to find her faithful companion with no luck. Phoenix would pine for her Ellie and would try to escape out of her prison, but to no avail. But one day, the man's dog, Jinx thought he would lend her a helping paw. Find out in this story how one lucky guide dog gets reunited with her very grateful owner. ---- This is a work of fiction. You could be going through some phase or something." He asked kinda carefully. "I'm Positive. I know I might be really young but I promise that I am." I say proudly. He stands up and walks over to me. He lifts my face up and stares at me. I get more nervous. What the hell is he doing? He brings his hand down across my face. His wolf claws extended. I feel them cut down across my face. I lift my hands to my face and see blood on them. I whimper and look up at my dad. "You are no longer my son. Your rights for being the next alpha have been revoked. Anything that was rightfully yours its mine now. You are nothing to me now. You are the lowest in the pack and will have to ask for everything. Get the fuck out of my sight." He threw me into the wall. I whimpered and ran out. I was ten years old when that happened to me. My life has been hell ever since. There is nothing I can do about it. I've been beaten burned and have other things done. My wolf hates me and I don't blame him. I hate myself..

Fireworks.Sparks.Tingles. It's as if all of the evil memories or thoughts of him were washed away as I kissed him more. Like as if I was brainwashed, in a trance that I couldn't break out of. It was addicting like a drug, I had to have more. Then I remember who he was. What he has done to innocent people. My mate is a monster. I pull away in shock not believing what I just have done. It felt like I murdered someone just by kissing Him. This is wrong. I hate it. But, I love it. He looked at me with shock and hurt expression on his face The Alpha Ares actually has feelings? Cold seeps into my bones as I wander the dark forest before me; the frigid air from the mountains enveloping me in a tight, chilling grip. Closer." That voice? I know that voice but from where? Where am I? more importantly, Why can't I remember? I know you exist. It's been 14 years still I have not found you. You can read it without reading the first but you'll know the characters better if you read them in order. They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.

The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. "Talk to me... Because this might be the only time you will ever be able to talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps. "W-what do you mean...". Never in my life have I stuttered, until then.
