Dream is going through a deep depression and George tries to help him through it all. The more George and Dream flirt jokingly, the more Dream begins to fall for his best friend. George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.

George, a high school student content in his routine of going to school then roller skating for hours on end, is in for a shock when a new kid is hired at the skating rink he frequents. At first Dream appears to be private about his personal affairs by withholding certain details of his life from George, but he soon finds George to be a great comfort and support when he falls on hard times. As George learns more about Dream's shocking past, will their strikingly different upbringings lead to a difference in priorities, or can their undeniable attachment to one another help form a lasting relationship between the two? After George is kicked out from his home for being transgender, he looses hope in ever finding someone that would accept him for who he really is. George's only option was to move in with his homophobic grandparents and he only wishes to be called a boy however that apparently was too much to ask. In a last attempt to find happiness he attends a music class as he enjoys singing. He meets a boy, Clay, however will Clay be just like the others? After a rough time at school from all the bullying, Dream was always there to comfort him even though he was the one doing the damage. Clay was the one who was poisoning George with his words full of nothing but his own pain. There's a camp coming up and both of them are looking forward to it, until they find out who they are in a room with. The days creep closer and George tries to find every way out of it, but there doesn't seem that there is one... Members of the DreamSMP are over at Dream's place when Sapnap and a few others begin to cross the line with Dreamnotfound jokes. Eventually, Dream has had enough of George being uncomfortable because of the sexual jokes and decides to knock some sense into Sapnap. The fight gets heated and Dream throws a punch at Sapnap, but misses.
