I spend time with them, befriend them, laugh and joke with them, and even strategize with them as we dodge in and out of Palaces, taking hearts where we please. But I never lose sight of the real reason why I'm using them. We get closer and closer, and Ren Amamiya, the leader of the group, peaks my interest. In another world, an empire filled with corruption is teetering on the brink of ruin, slowly growing even more disgusting with the Prime Minister's selfish actions. A group of Assassins called Night Raid are rebelling against the Empire, hoping to change it for the better. But the corruption is running deeper in most of the empire, forming extreme distortions that Night Raid can't face themselves. It's time for Joker, Leader of the Phantom Thieves, to return with Mona, this time in a whole new world filled to the brim with distortion and rotten hearts to change in the Metaverse. But will the rebellious trickster be willing to kill his targets like the Assassins can? Or will he succumb in the face of ruin like he's never seen before?

Back then, I had narrowly saved Goro Akechi from death. I remember it well, how close I was to losing him not only physically, but also mentally. His plot for revenge had shaped him into a weapon, designed to murder countless lives for the sake of his own retribution. I got him through that, and with some patience, we discovered a relationship that fell beyond the boundaries of friends. But it didn't last forever. His last words to me were his refusal to watch me serve jailtime for the crimes he commited at the Phantom Thieves expense. Before I could argue, he left, allowing Sae Niijima to take him in. But now, all of a sudden, my days change. Akechi and I both have a choice, one that will shape our future forever. The question is...what do we really want? Justice, or freedom?

Ever since Shiho, Ann's best friend, tried to commit suicide from jumping off the school building, Ann has had many doubts fill her mind. Some of that changed when she became part of the Phantom Thieves and made her contract with her Persona to change society from the evil that truly lurks it by changing people's hearts. With the first target, Kamoshida, Ann had the feeling of revenge to get back at the man who caused so much pain to her best friend. Even after defeating Kamoshida, negative feelings still lingered within Ann's mind. She cast them aside and contunued to grow stronger for her dear friend. Her strength showed with the process of taking Madarame down. However, there was one blockde in her mind that she couldn't understand. She constantly worked on making her own heart strong, but had no luck. That was until a new transfer student came along the way and caught her attention.....
