To say that the Gladers were extremely confused once they realized who was sent up in the lift this time, was a complete exaggeration. The gladers disregarded any suspicions with your arrival, as they thought you were just another mouth to feed. After all, YOU were only the 2nd girl to be delivered into the Glade. Much like everyone else, you were just as confused and lost. With no memory before waking up in that box, the only clue to all this chaos was a vague writing in your arm, no knowledge who wrote it and what it exactly meant. What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...) Her coming marks the beginning of a new era in the Maze. A drama featuring an OC, some Grievers, would-you-rather questions, and a little bit of romance. --- This is an idea that I've been playing out in my head for two years, now. It originally started as inserting myself into the world of The Maze Runner, and progressed from there. When I would work my summer job, I would daydream about the happenings, conversations, and friendships developing naturally over a period of time, and found myself engaged in the drama.
