I begin walking up the stairs, him beside me, and wobbling significantly from the alcohol in my system. We were close to our floor before I trip on a step and fall face first into the stairs. I hear Josh laughing loudly above me, and choosing not to show my pain, I laugh along with him. I feel his warm hands plant themselves under my arms and pick me up. I laugh louder when I see that Josh had an adorable concentration face. His eyes were narrowed and his teeth were biting his bottom lip slightly. Amanda is in the park one day after moving away from her ex-husband when she finds a small boy. This would be a simple problem to solve, but this little boy is quite literally the size of her hand and his parents are nowhere to be found. Unable to leave the boy behind, Amanda decides to take the boy in and take care of him while she tries to discover the mystery of who this little boy is. He was unnaturally good at balancing. He had keen hearing and sight. His senses always felt heightened and he could predict when people were near. Believing he had a genetic condition that kept him from growing beyond four-and-a-half inches, Parker attributed his natural skills as part of his condition and lived as normal of a life as possible. Dom grew up in a small town he didn't care about. He raised hell for years with his childhood friends- a small but infamous group among a few others in the area. As top dog, he never pictured his life doing anything else; happily spending dirty dollar bills and procuring it in even dirtier ways. Then when his right-hand man was given guardianship of his little sister, Dom met Andi for the first time. She was suddenly stuck in the middle of the boys' risky idea of making a living, trapped in the much-needed role of mother hen. She quickly became the one reason Dom needed to leave his degenerate ways far behind him. So, he did. Now he's back and burning with a single purpose. When he leaves again- this time he's taking Andi with him.
