Kara lands herself a new job as caretaker for the Luthor's. She's to take care of their youngest daughter Lena, who's been forced to move back in with her mother after a devastating explosion at her job, causing multiple fatalities and her brother's incarceration, nearly killed her too. That's been a year ago and physically, Lena is fine, but she has a severe depression and needs someone to look after her. That's where Kara comes in. During her time with the Luthor's she slowly finds out there's a little more going on, though. (Trigger warnings for: implied/referenced self harm, homophobia, mention of eating disorder, abuse, grief/mourning, survivor guilt and panic attacks)

Kara walks into CatCo like a casual day expecting everything to go on as usual. But to her surprise she finds out someone bought CatCo. That woman was nine other than Lena Luthor herself. She also happened to take a liking to Ms Danvers bit the only problem is that she's never been one for relationships. So deciding she's going to get what she wants she proposes friends with benefits. Note: In this story I decided to make Kara power free. So Kara Zor-El is just Kara Danvers.

Reporter Kara Danvers(also supergirl) and business woman Lena Luthor have been friends for years, both have hidden feelings for each other but are unsure if the other one feels the same. Eventually the two acknowledge their feelings, everyone around them approves but Lena's Family is less accepting and tries to separate her from Kara. In this sequel for this AU, it's been years since Kara Danvers has seen Lena Luthor. After Lena ending things with Kara after a heated threat from her mother, she went off to college, leaving Kara and a few friends behind. Now that Lena's the new CEO of L-Corp, she runs into Kara again. Will Lena explain why she had to leave her? Will Kara tell Lena her secret? Lena has her own explanation to tell, but what could it be? Most importantly, do they still have feelings for each other? Only one way to find out... THIS IS INTERTWINED WITH SEASON TWO. I DID bring in Sam and Ruby, only because they're important and frikin awesome. Sanvers broke up. Maggie did leave for a bit before coming back to National City instead of going out of the country. She couldn't leave for good. It was too hard. Sam knows about Kara being Kryptonian and Alex being DEO. Kara told her when they were in high school. Since she knows, might as well tell her about the DEO when they reunite¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So now some more of MY changes: Cat stuck around. Kara might need her later... SuperCorp have their secrets but will be revealed in time. Maybe some appearances by other characters. Jeremiah is DEAD [sorry :( ]. The whole thing with Jeremiah happened before this. Kara isn't supergirl in this story: Kara Danvers had caught the eyes of both Lena Luthor and Samantha Arias upon her appearance at L Corp one afternoon to conduct an interview with the CEO Lena Luthor herself. Both woman were having a lunch meeting in Lena's office when the blonde haired woman stepped through the door. Both woman's eyes glued to the blonde as she began asking Lena questions. What happens when Lena asks her own questions in return? (trigger warning Kara has a penis) if you feel uncomfortable reading this that's ok. I understand.

When Kara and Lena meet, they don't like each other, in fact they despise each other. The young reporter tries to refuse interviewing Miss Luthor, but her boss Cat Grant isn't having it, and continued to push Kara on interviewing her. Eventually their hate turns into love. But a tragic accident takes everything that makes Kara Danvers, well... Kara Danvers. That includes her memories. Will she ever get them back? Or will she be forced to see the people she loved as strangers for the rest of her life. this story takes place in season one of Supergirl.
