Never on the Same Page (Ink-Stained Hearts 2)
25 parts Ongoing Daniela Sofia Chua had been living in someone else's blueprint all her life. With meticulously crafted priorities, Dana had long buried the idea of love, thinking she would never need a firewall for it because she had always been stone-cold. As a top journalism student with a past she could never heal from, and dreams that seemed out of reach, Dana was never one to play nice. She had always been ruthless in the name of being number one, forcing her into a predicament with Gianluca Candreva's sister after an academic cheating incident.
Now co-leads of the university paper and unwilling partners in several projects, Dana and Gian couldn't seem to stay away from each other-nor would they ever see eye to eye. He thought she was all fortunes and calculations, manipulative beyond belief, ambitious, but at the expense of others. She thought he was full of pride, secrets, and schemes up his sleeves.
Somehow, in a series of whispered arguments, targeted editing of articles, and walk-outs, Dana caught herself admiring the man she claimed to despise-and Gian, on the other hand, found himself drawing hearts on the bylines of the name he used to cross out.
They were never on the same page, but one of them had been hoping to at least be on the footnotes of the other.
