It has been said that "Well behaved women seldom make history." In the case of Charlotte Brunswick, this could not be more true of a statement. After running away from her abusive and neglectful household, she survives on her own the only way she can: By pretending to be a boy. No one ever questions a boy's capabilities. Though with the revelation of her secret comes its own complications; namely the feelings of betayal that will inevitably be felt by her best friend Gilbert...along with the romantic feelings she's always harbored for him.
