After years of being practically tortured by Thanos, you luckily manage to escape and become quite the space ranger. Reuniting with your sister and old friend, Gamora, you are determined to retrieve an orb in order to betray the man who abducted you. When you and Gamora come across Rocket, Groot, Drax, and Star-Lord in prison, you form the Guardians of the Galaxy, and someone may have a bit of a crush. This fanfic follows along the lines of the first movie. Centers around Rocket and reader but there are interactions with the other characters as well.
