A transformers prime fanfic (Knockout x Breakdown) Cascade has grown older, but he still has a lot to learn. No larger than Breakdown's pede, he has a ton of growing to do. He loves to explore the Nemesis and annoy others, which constantly gets him into trouble. Starscream (who he has now deemed 'Uncle Screamy') gets highly annoyed every time he sees him. Megatron tolerates him, even teaching him how to break a mech's wrist in one move and how to dislocate a knee joint. Knockout doesn't approve of course, but Breakdown thinks it's good for him to learn. ---- As Cascade grows older, however, his curiosity grows with him. He wants to explore the world at his own pace without having Knockout or Breakdown constantly watching him. But when he stumbles upon something from his parents' past, questions start to burn in his processor. It's a normal day for Starscream, he had gotten back from the medbay due to the beating he got from Megatron, when in his room he decides he wants to switch sides, little does he know that his lost Conjunx and sparklings were found by the Autobots and were recruited to help them, Will starscream choose to stay with the Decepticons or choose to go along sides with the Autobots? After countless betrayals and physical punishments from Megatron, Starscream finally reaches his breaking point. Severely injured and utterly humiliated after another public beating, he defects from the Decepticons and run away. It is rather unfortunate that nothing seems to go as planned for the kind-hearted, or you, at the very least. You had no other options run to, nothing to hide behind, nothing to help protect your newborn but yourself. Would the Autobots have helped you? Not anymore, you thought. To them, you were ruthless and horrible, simply because you wore a different insignia on your chassis. You already swore an oath to the true enemy, so why would you leave? Your sparkling would grow up with villains. Murderers. Destroyers. Or it all appeared that way until your coming to Earth, where you met a special seeker. He became your glimmer of hope. But will he stay that way?

During an unfortunate accident that's half planned, the bots and cons are transformed into sparklings. Can Optimus and the kids take care of the sparkling Autobots? Can Megatron and Shockwave have enough patients with the sparkling Decepticons? Will the two leaders be able to figure everything out before they themselves are turned into sparklings?! Find out.

The Decepticons welcome Megatron back after 3 years. Shortly after his grand return, Megatron is caught off guard when an unexpected person shows up on Earth. Someone he believed to be dead, the heir to his throne. His sparkling has returned to take his place in the Decepticon Ranks and to crush the Autobots with unrelenting fury. During a battle, Starscream gets left behind to the autobots. when they take him prisoner, they realize how broken he is and try to fix him and at the end.....

Soundwave has always been a loyal servant and officer to Megatron but what happens when he realises that his feelings for his lord go deeper than loyalty and respect?

Solace; such a word was unheard of to the anxious, conniving seeker. On a good day, Starscream was lucky to escape Megatron's wrath for a few moments. But the chance of a lifetime was at his fingertips, and even he couldn't put pride above a desperate will to live. After all, who wouldn't accept the offer of a safe haven, of pure, unrequited acceptance?

Starscream had begun to understand over time that there were things he used to believe, to represent. He was Second In Command to the Decepticons and with Megatron's increasingly concerning behavior with Dark Energon. He's not sure if he wants to stay. When his Trine gives him a way out, he's remains undecided until Megatron destroys what little trust he had in the leader and Starscream follows behind his brothers straight to the Autobots. With the decline in his health, he's unsure if he can handle becoming an Autobot, or let alone handle the truth he's been hiding or the past friends he has to face. Nothing can prepare him though for the sudden life he created, unaware and the reason for his decline. Now with a sparkling in the mix, he has never felt so unsure about his future than he did now. TL;DR - Starscream ends up leaving the Decepticons with his brothers only to end up in Autobot care when his health suddenly declines. When he learns it's because of an unplanned sparkling.
