It's been three months since Horde Primes defeat, Catra hasn't gotten use to living in Bright Moon. When an unexpected visitor arrives, things take an unexpected turn.

An old friend, the savior of the city, the end of Crota and Oryx, a hero of the Red War, one that has fallen to the darkness... Such a person troubles our trio of equine guardians as they find themselves on a planet that has been left uncharted for quite some time. With the darkness closing in faster than ever before and with their communications cutting shorter than normal they must work with unlikely allies if they're going to save the city, and the rest of humanity with it...

The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. Mankind had launched hundreds- if not, thousands- of journeys across the system, connecting Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, even Mercury into an increasingly large web of life and technology. Fast forward to the end of the Golden Age- The Collapse and the Dark Age- alien races surge forth from outside the system- the Eliksni, the Hive, The Cabal, The Vex- all coming for the Traveler. He fought them all, sending his Light, his Power out, crushing the opposition. Then, He was crippled, retreating to a small town. Fast forward to the beginning of our age- The City Age- With His dying breath, The Traveler created the Ghost- small machines that can revive those capable of wielding the Light- His Power- and fight the Darkness. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City. What happens when one is reborn and becomes one of the few able to wield the flame of hope as his own, to burn off the shackles of darkness that have been crushing humanity's will and hope to dust, What happens when he experiences so much tragedy, so much pain, that he delves into the shadows? What happens, when he finally snaps? And what happens to his loved ones when they are forced to put him down? The annihilation of the Hive from two years ago left the world at peace finally. With the death of James-17 hopefully being the final nail in the coffin, leaving the world to finally rebuild from the devastation from the darkness from ages ago. However, a new threat is on the horizon, one that requires old enemies to unite. The world will crack and break, and the thunderous footsteps of war will return to Earth. And this time, light will not be enough.
