In one universe, Anakin and Padme choose to wait until after the war to marry. But the Sith's plans are already in motion, so that alone will not be enough to save the galaxy, even though Anakin does not join Sidious. Instead, Anakin goes into hiding, vowing to do whatever it takes to bring Sidious down, even if it means fighting a war on his own as the vigilante called Vader.

Ahsoka comes back to the Order before the end of the war for reasons Anakin doesn't know. As the world crashes down around him, as the Jedi Order and Republic fall, the Empire rising from their ashes, as he sees the security recording of Ahsoka kneeling to Sidious, her new master, Anakin knows nothing will ever be the same again.

When Obi-Wan goes to confront Vader to lead him away from the escaping transport ship, he comes face-to-face with some bitter, horrifying truths. Vader is not free. Anakin has never been free, even after he left Tatooine, or at least he has never believed himself to be free. What does one do when the child they raised and trained and loved believes you to be his slaver?

Killed on Tatooine by stormtroopers, Luke encounters the Son and Daughter. He has a connection to them, especially the Son, which is allowing him to stay partly in the physical realm, at least enough to get to know his father. But soon, he realizes he isn't the only one with a connection to the Ones.

An accident drops Vader into Obi-Wan's backyard on Tatooine. Literally. With Sidious dead, he can bring his family back together. Perhaps, he can even go to another timeline, to the past, to fix what he can't fix here. For her part, Ahsoka is... more than a little shocked when a Sith Lord and two children appear in front of her while she's on the run in the Underworld.

When the Invisible Hand crashes to Coruscant during Anakin's duel with Dooku, Anakin is thought to be dead. The reality is much worse. Injured, memoryless, and in the hands of the Sith, Anakin is incredibly vulnerable to manipulation. As the Sith's plans reach a climax, revenge is finally within their grasp, while the galaxy spirals into chaos all around them.

The mission to rescue the Chancellor becomes complicated when, out of nowhere, four more versions of Anakin randomly appear on the Invisible Hand. Except two of them are Sith cyborgs. Obi-Wan can already feel the headache coming on. One Anakin is hard enough. But five? Who all want his attention? Who all consider him their father? It's almost a nightmare come true. Or is it?

When Luke Skywalker is sent to the past, he ends up in the middle of the last skirmish before the Battle of Coruscant. He is fast running out of time to save his father from Falling to the Dark Side and becoming Darth Vader. But what if Anakin can't be saved? After leaving Vader a second time, Obi-Wan is given, and takes, the chance to travel to the past to fix his mistakes. He hopes it will be easy. It's not. As the galaxy around him spirals out of control a second time, Obi-Wan captures a newly Fallen Darth Vader and runs away with him. Even if he can't save Anakin, at least he can stop Vader from terrorizing the galaxy again.
