Mere months ago Detroit was home to an android uprising, androids winning the battle for equality. Being the stubborn person she is, Detective (L/n) refuses to accept androids. So now Hank and Connor are on their own secret case to bring her around. But in the midst of all this... Connor feels like he's not just doing this for (Y/n)'s own good anymore. He wants her to notice him, to like him... what is this strange emotion he's feeling when he's around her? ~ ~ This takes place after the initial game, with it having ended the same way it did on Sean/Jacksepticeye's playthrough so yeah (the best ending where just about everyone lives)

This story is set during the events of Detroit: Become Human because I'm really bad at one shots. This is a Connor/reader. M/F. Censored swearing. This is my first uploaded story so please be nice because I'm terrified. Constructive criticism welcomed.

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. Everything seemed fine, until an android walked into the bar. Everyone watched as he approached us. "Lieutenant Anderson, Detective (l/n), my name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife."

Y/N was born in a world without androids. When she was ten, Chloe, the first android was created. Is this why she is sympathetic to the android cause now? How will she handle hunting deviants with her partner Hank and the new android Connor sent by Cyberlife? Humans and androids aren't meant to bond are they? They simply are not compatible. Detroit six months post-revolution is starting to get back to normal. Except for the major rise in anti-android violence taking place across the city. After being locked out of the country for those six months, Andrea Cartier is back in her position as Lieutenant to hopefully make a dent in the anti-android case. But something about her tells Connor there's more to her than what meets the eye. Perhaps he just has a crush on her like Hank keeps telling him. But he's convinced it's something else. After all, is he really convinced there isn't another highly intelligent race that walks among the Earth and looks human?

Her brother and she had a vision. A vision where people would have the power to create life. Machines that would change the world. They both knew that a day would come when the Androids would wake up. They'd start to experience human emotions. CyberLife needed somebody to hunt them down. Somebody to put an end to a war that hadn't even begun. Connor is her most impressive creation, and in time, she'll realize, that he's something more than a machine. ~*~{0}~*~ I don't own Detroit Become Human.
