Valerie was one of the original Avengers but was taken hostage by HYDRA after being saved by Tony Stark only a few years prior. This is Set During Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Ember Henley is an excellent fighter and fought along side the avengers since the beginning of their formation. Her and Steve became the closet friends possible. They would do anything for each other. When Sam joined they also became friends, But Ember fell in love with Sam.
