Devastated by the words of his idol All Might, the Number 1 Hero, Izuku Midoriya tries to end his life by taking a swan dive of the building he and his idol was on. As he closes his eyes, accepting his fate, he found himself standing on a building and facing The Prototype himself Alex Mercer. There Mercer told him he was Izuku's past self and he is willing to merge their souls to give the Blacklight Virus to our protagonist and letting it mutate into a quirk. You and Izuku were okay friends, you'd speak occasionally and sometimes train together but you never actually got that close. After playing a game that ends up with you kissing your classmate whilst you are blindfolded, you two begin to carry on the steamy exchange. Knowing what it means to be captured and experimented on is a given for Eri and Izuku. Nevertheless, it didn't stop them to find each other. Midoriya was a member of the Chisaki clan. He was in the hands of Overhall and it didn't stop him from thinking that Kai wasn't a bad person. There was always a reason for everything and so there must be a reason for why he was so obsessed with quirk elimination too. Being the person he is, Izuku still tries to find a way to save Eri. If he had to choose between saving himself and Eri, then he would go for Eri of course. He would make it happen somehow even if it means suffering on his own.
