A zombie apocalypse has occurred due to a contamination in government labs leaking out into the world. Only humans have been affected but everything about them has changed. Will Nalah and her friends be able to survive?

It took barely over a month for the epidemic to spread across the globe. Contrary to belief, the world didn't end with a bang and neither did it go quietly. No. It ended one scream at a time. A little more than a year has passed since the outbreak swept over the planet and annihilated a good portion of the living. Perri was one of the lucky ones who managed to evacuate with the military escorted buses in those early days of the spread. But, that luck didn't last. After one too many tragedies, she had decided to finally leave the, so called, "safe zone". With her main objective being the search for her best friend, she finds more than she bargained for. Her blood is death. Her blood is virulent. Her blood is life. Salvation is hers to give.

In a world once home to life things have become dark and life has all but faded from the world as the dead began to rise and humans began to fall can the last of humanity survive or will they be eaten.

Life's always been hard for Ophelia, the death of the father when she was young and having to be her mom's support. Just as life seems to be going perfect the dead start roaming the streets and she has to watch her loved ones die one by one. Now she has to start back at square one and navigate this new world where dead walk among the living. One wrong move could be fatal and Ophelia has to try and survive even though the World's not safe anymore...

A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. This story was meant to be raw or just as it poured from my head. Spelling and punctuation errors are only to be expected, if the cause you some offence well... that's just the way this story was made. It is not meant to be refined but like living such a scenario would be, rough.

Peace. Peace? Is that all that humans seek? Ironically, human resources can make peace, but wars are still in and about. Peace is all that one might seek, or that's what everyone thought. After so many battles through history and many more to come, the world will never unite. Some countries will resist and rule the top; some will collapse and find shelters underneath the surface. For sure, only those who will survive are those who will live in the shadows. Some countries decided to change the world by creating the biggest alliance ever known to face the most influential nations all at once. Thus they decided to change the world for good. This is what she was told.
