Can you explain every conscious move you made? Most, probably, but maybe not the most important, the ones that make you who you are, the decisions that define the person you've become. Visiting a tropical island where my narrator didn't want to go in the first place, he almost became responsible for the death of a man. A dear man. An intimate friend... almost.

I always wondered. If I was doing it right? I also wondered what the point was to all of this. A friend of mine told me that I just needed to "start fresh. A new start, with new friends And a new home. Start again. A second chance" I wondered what he meant by a second chance. But I did not think on it long I went home, unpacked and did what I was told. So... Dear journal, this was his idea too. �������� it all down he said. What could possibly go wrong?

Sometimes one ordinary vacation can change your life, forever. It can go beyond anything you planned, or thought possible and surprise you in bad ways as well as good ones. Still, it is up to you to decide what you will do and which path to take. The question is where will the path lead you? Each decision you make leads you to a different place or event. When a prophecy is given that can bring life or death, choices are made, and lives are changed. But were those choices the right ones, and were the lives changed for the better?

I was waiting for my dad when my life changed. Not in any way like a fairy tale with magic wands or going through a rabbit hole like kids in the books do. More like I found it and wished my father came back to clean up his own problem instead of risking my life for this. I can only hope that I will make it out alive.
