After winning the 74th Hunger Games, Gale and Y/n are trying to adjust to their new lives in district 12's victors village. They know that they are in trouble with the Capital after pulling that stunt with the berries, but nothing has happened so far so they try to forget. When they both have to go back into the Hunger Games they don't know what to do, they don't want to lose each other but Y/n is willing to do whatever it takes to protect Gale and keep him alive. Even if that means that she has to die, she will do whatever it takes. Gale will also do whatever it takes to keep Y/n alive, will they be the death of each other?

[SEQUEL TO 'BEHIND THOSE VIOLET EYES'] It is said that once one is crowned victor of the Hunger Games, they never have to return to the arena. Every twenty-five years, there is a change in the Games for that year only. These special years are called Quarter Quells... and for this year's Quell, the Capitol has created something beyond anyone's imagination. For the seventy-fifth annual Hunger Games, the tributes will be Reaped out of their District's own pool of victors... And only two can win if they are from the same District... Cyra Merison, Alia Fletson, Cato Demeir, and Gale Hawthorne are all Reaped back into the Games for another year to participate in the bloodbath. And this year, not all of them will have the odds in their favour. For Cyra, this year is especially horrific. Not only is she Reaped back into something she loathes, but is also forced to marry someone she hates under the power of President Frost. Alia, on the other hand, takes her Career training to a whole new level and proves to everyone she intends on winning. And with the 'sudden' death of head Gamemaker Seneca Crane, President Frost takes control of the Games this year. He makes it clear to all of Panem who his favourite tributes are... And if the citizens are smart, they will bet on them as well. The tributes will be forced to fight harder than ever if they wish to win. Because, in the end, only the strong will survive.

You and Peeta have been best friends growing up, but by the time the 74th Hunger Games rolls around, you have developed a serious crush for him. Just before you were both thrown into the arena, he professes his love to another girl in front of the entire nation...and your world immediately collapses. What would it take for you to cope once you are thrown into the arena? How would you deal with your feelings? Would Peeta notice his mistake...or would he remain forever oblivious to your feelings? And what happens when another tribute starts developing feelings for you during the Games? Anything can happen in this twist of the 74th annual Hunger Games. **I DO NOT OWN THE HUNGER GAMES.
