After facing the struggles the Deepsea Metro, Nova now found himself on the surface. More specifically, Inkopolis. With Agent 3 making the decision of taking 8 under her wing, their friendship begins. However, 8 notes the seriousness that 3 wields, yet is determined to pursue their friendship. However, it is clear to Nova that while Inkopolis as a whole was amazing in his eyes, it is clear that he's not particularly welcomed with the rest of the inklings. With a city new to the octoling, comes a new life, and with that, new struggles. That isn't to say that newfound feelings aren't included... How will Agent 8 come to deal with these new challenges? This is my take on the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion DLC, so there will be inconsistencies. Treat this like an Alternate Universe from the Canon Universe. Edit: Turned on Mature because the Octo Expansion gets *dark* Edit 2: Changed Ashley to Psyche because I forgot about my in-game avatar when I first wrote this. Derp.

Agent 8 was scared of just about everything. Loud noises, sudden movements, anyone significantly bigger than her, any and all ink bombs, anything pointing a weapon at her, C.Q. Cumber, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. Who could blame her really? After what she'd been through? So it's no small surprise when Agent 3 discovers that she isn't on that extensive list.

Hello there again! This is now my 2nd �������� story, which is the sequel to Agent 38: In The Making. If you haven't read it yet, please do go ahead and read it because if you don't this won't make much sense. (Disclaimer: No art or characters belong to me unless I say so.) On to the description! The mighty Agent 8 has been captured and sanitized. Agent 3, however, thinks she's dead. When Three finds out she's been sanitized this whole time, he will stop at nothing to get her back. But... she doesn't remember him. Not in the slightest. What happens when distance grows between the two and Eight falls further into the clutches of her own mind? It's been nine months since escaping the Deepsea Metro, defeating tar-tar, and saving Inkoplois things seemed to have finally calmed down for the team. Agent 8 now free is now living his new life on the surface, working, going on missions, and his favorite thing getting to spend time with 3. 3 is enjoying spending time with 8, but after going on a research mission in the Deepsea Metro she notices 8 acting strange. She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing. The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It's clear 8 is after 3 and if he finds her, he's not letting her go.

One of the few humans that was inserted into a cryo pod and went on to wake up on this new, new world. But he and the other humans were tasked to carry the legacy of humanity. He became a hero by saving Cuttlefish by being cornered and killed but he sacrificed himself for the win of the 2nd Great Turf War. Not too long after the war, he was dug up by the "CEO" of the F. A. O Agency. And became a valuable asset for them. Along with his new friend "Cross", they moved to the Plaza to live a normal life. But do they? Follow the adventures of Brooks and Cross. As they try their hardest to keep their identity secret. And will Brooks can finally stop reminiscing the past trauma? We won't know until we find out. Shall we start? Akikta, the last living remnant of humanity, outsmarted death; he's all that's left, which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the state of Earth.
