A generation of highly gifted shape the future as they forge alliances to battle the opposing forces. As one story unfolds another is told in the shadows of the light. Differences will be realized causing further difficulty that will add on to the many obstacles these young gifted will have to overcome if they wish to move forward.

In our world, there are two forces. One of darkness, and one of light. The forces of darkness dwell underground, in large caverns and ravines. The inhabitants of these spaces are demons, who are born of fear and anger, and thirst for it. These nightmarish creatures have one goal: slaughter the human race, and take over the world. Enter the forces of light. To them, genocide isn't that cool. They're like, "How about you NOT do that, 'k?" These shining paladins of hope (most of them, anyway) are trained to defend the world from these monsters. The guardians of the light are trained to protect at the 'Гэрэл Чапел' (The Chapel of Light). Jace, who came to the school expecting such, has spent years (one and a half) preparing himself to fight. However, he soon learns that the fight runs much deeper, and the stakes are much higher than he thought.

Her Mother was known as a great healer in the village until they found out she was a witch. The village then worked together to burn her at the stake, while her Father kept her birth a secret from the whole village until she was old enough. Then when her Father died of disease everyone found out what she was. The villagers had decided to burn down her house and chase her out so she fled the only home she had known, and into the forest. After becoming lost she meets a woman laying in the grass, so she goes to her for help. Meeting her was the beginning of a mission to save three different races, herself, and the woman that she realizes that she loves.

In a world similar and yet very different from ours, that's where our story will lead us. Even in a world of supernatural and magic, there can still be out of the norm things..... That's just what Shadow is, only one of her kind, no one else is like her. Why? Well she's the daughter of both sides. (This is an old story, don't expect my current writing skills in them lol)
