A new villain with light abilities stole a rainbow crystal and Sonic and his friends failed to stop him. For now at least. Later, Knuckles fell in love with the girl of his dreams but he doesn't know how to get her attention. Sonic and Amy decided to help while the villian begins their evil plan. What will happen?

After another failure attempt of Eggman defeating team Sonic, he decided to retire for good. However, since Egghead retired everyone's lives have been great, until Amy has been starting to get harassed and or bullied by other boys beyond 'Hedgehog Village'. Sonic has been oblivious to Amy's feelings and what the boys have been doing to her (except for Tails' and Knuckles). Tails has been asking questions of why Sonic just doesn't want to admit his true feelings of love towards the fair sakura hedgehog. But one day all of that changed, Sonic finally found out about boys trying to do stuff to Amy and he had enough of their foolishness that something happened to him. This takes place in the Sonic Boom universe because I figured Orbot and Cubot don't get enough attention. NO SMUT!! Not romance focused either. The Summer with Sonic and friends isn't as light hearted as it would be. Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Blaze, Silver, Shadow, Rouge, Cream, Cheese, Sally, Marine, and Mighty just don't wanna have fun with Sonic considering they want nothing to do with him as a friend anymore. Not even his brother Manic (who also came for their vacation) wanted to hang out with him. All of them were on summer vacation at a hotel near a every day theme park (which is an attraction with the hotel). They wanted to spend all summer without Sonic (who came with them) Though when they went too far Sonic felt so heart broken and was never in their sights. By the time they all feel bad and guilty especially Knuckles who actually does have a crush on him they slowly notice Sonic is not himself. He was feeling off and never coming out of the room he stayed in until most summer nights. He was even eating raw meat every day and night. Also strange things happened. They at first thought he was mad at all of them but Knuckles knows that there is something more sinister than that.
