What if the seven dwarfs never really existed and were just branches of Snow White's personality? Happy for the good days, Grumpy for the bad, Sneezy when under the weather and Bashful around that special someone. What if every time you looked into the mirror you believed you were a different person? Well, that's how it felt to be Holly Mills. Faced with Dissociative Identity Disorder, this Snow White's only problem wasn't running away from evil queens. It wasn't much of a joyride for her best friend Ava or her boyfriend Will, either. Waking up to find out that she didn't even remember them on some days weighed them down in ways they couldn't even begin to describe. On the days when Holly woke up as shy and quiet Elody, sleepy and sarcastic Alora or clumsy and overenthusiastic Daisy, her three distinct alternate personalities, she didn't know who her friends were and couldn't recollect any of her past memories with them. To be friends with her was like being friends with four different people. Ava had already mastered this, but Will still had a lot to catch up on. After all, it wasn't an easy task to date four different girls at the same time. Especially if each one was a complete opposite to the last. Nonetheless, Will wants to be with his girlfriend. All of her. Even if that means recreating his and Holly's love stories with all her split personalities just to try and refresh her memory. Maybe somewhere along the way, she could get better, even. With Ava's help and a long list of ways to charm his girlfriend, can Will make the so-called dwarfs fall in love with Prince Charming just like his Snow White did?

!!!Undergoing Editing!!! *previously known as The Red Queen Effect* "It's strange what desires could make foolish people do. I'd never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you, And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you." ~ Wicked Game by Chris Isaak There were many times that I could remember hearing the stories about people falling in love or meeting their one true love. Stories that had allowed me to fantasize about meeting my true love, the one that fate had chosen for me. However, it seemed like it truly was never meant to be, according to my grandmother, "Love is a Queen's greatest weakness. Remember, my dear granddaughter, you are a Princess now but you will soon be a Queen who will rule with an iron fist and an empty heart." But was love truly a weakness? According to the stories that I have read and heard around the castle, love seemed to be something magical and incredible, especially if it was true love. So, how could someone determine it to be a weakness? It wasn't until I landed in Neverland that I had to find out the truth the hard way, in the most excruciating and heart-wrenching way possible. Yet, It was my fault after all, I decided to make a game out of it and someone else decided to use that to their advantage. If I was given the chance to change something from my past it would have been to prevent myself from all of the heartache that was to come. Maybe then I could have saved myself the trouble of having to rip out my own heart. But you know what they say, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I am the daughter of the Evil Queen, the granddaughter of the former Queen of Hearts, there is no such thing as a happy ending for people like me. What a Wicked Game life plays. *Comments and votes are always welcomed. ** I do not own Once Upon A Time, only my characters Clara, Ravenna, Kingsley, and Flynn and any ideas for this story.

鈽哋NC 2021 Honourable Mention and Shortlister鈽 鈽哋ne of Round Two Top Five Winners鈽 鈽哅ultiple times featured鈽 鈽嗏槅鈽 鈽員his is a story about H. Ch. Andersen, about how he became a writer and why most of his stories are so sad and melancholic. Also, about why he never found real love... Yes, that's what I read about him (among other things)-- he kept falling in love with unatteinable women. My story portrays Hans Christian Andersen as a young, fourteen-years-old boy. It's set in Odense, Denmark, in the late summer of 1818-- soon after Hans' mother, a poor washerwoman, remarried (two years after his father's death) and shortly before he was sent to a school for poor children where he had to support himself. Where he became, to be able to afford his schooling, first a weaver's, then a tailor's apprentice, a singer, an actor and finally, once his excellent soprano voice changed, a writer. Hans and Louise, his (fictional) step-sister, seek refuge from a summer storm in an old shed. There, they meet Rosalind, a lost Flower Fairy. When they decide to help her find the Butterfly Fairy boy she loves and intends to marry, she takes them into a fantastical world of Terra Sonalis, her home. A land of dreams populated by fairies, goblins, elves, mermaids, talking animals... All those mysterious creatures that fuelled Andersen's imagination for the rest of his life. 鈽嗏槅鈽
