This is a short story for Christmas 2020! Anna is home from college on Christmas break. She makes some new friends and starts to realize that the path she's chosen in life might not be the right path for her. She meets Kurt and starts to question everything she thought she knew about love. But will her new realizations be enough for her to change her life for the better?

Set in the summer of 1992, Nirvana is getting bigger and bigger by the minute and are at the height of their fame when they decide to make a little addition to their band. Enter Ashlyn. A young girl living a simple life and working at a music store. Her life changes suddenly when she is offered the chance to go on tour with Nirvana as their rhythm guitarist. Things seem to go on well at first but they take a dramatic turn when she starts getting a little too close to a certain blond lead singer as well as uncovering some secrets about her life and the people around her. With Fame, Love, Hate, Secrets, Envy, Drama and a whole lot of insane Revelations, just sit tight and hang on 'cause it's gonna be a hell of a ride! this was something my mind made up while I was on shrooms... and then my friends told me to make a story outta it. so here we go :D Lily and Kurt are childhood friends, but they haven't seen each other in years, not since Kurt moved away from their hometown of Aberdeen. Now, Lily is 18, stuck in an abusive household, depressed, and trying desperately to keep her head down and get out of Aberdeen. But when Kurt comes home for Thanksgiving and the two are reunited, a wrench is thrown in her plans. Her life changes in ways she could never imagine, but ultimately for the better. She finds love and happiness somewhere she never thought to look for it. :)) (I super messed up the history/timeline in this, so I'm sorry about that...)

The band became her family, and life on the road was a perfect fit for her. Chris Cornell instantly became Sydney's best friend in the whole world. They were in love, that was plain as day to anyone who paid attention. Yet, sometimes love isn't as simple as it should be. Sometimes, love hurts.
