Izuku Midoriya was in an accident in middle school that made him go deaf. He gave up on his hopes of becoming a hero and ended up moving schools. 6 years later he meets Eijirou Kirishima when he was working at a bookstore to make extra cash. One thing leads to another and he ended up meeting his old childhood friend/bully, Katsuki Bakugou again. Katsuki regrets everything that he did in middle school and tries to makes it up for Izuku. Katsuki Bakugo, UA student, aiming to be the number one hero, has a problem. Izuku Midoriya has been brighter than usual and it's been making Bakugo feel warm and light inside. This pissed him off. Especially since everyone else seemed to want the cheery green-haired, clumsy idiot. With these strange new feelings, Bakugo has discovered that he feels no resentment towards the boy he grew up with. Instead, he wants to pull Midoriya closer, hide him away and protect him. He wanted that smiled aimed at him more often instead of half and half or stupid floaty girl. But he couldn't say that to the clumsy idiot. Katsuki Bakugo just wanted to clutch the boy in his arms... So as any person would, Katsuki decided to help Izuku with it. The two stay glued onto each other like shoelaces, being able to untie themselves, but deciding not to. Summary 2: Chapters 19-26 Nobody said being a hero was easy, take Hawks for example. People both love and hate him for his actions, imposed on him by the hero cooperation and out of his control. Katsuki was attractive, die hard attractive. Summary; At the age of 23 the heroes Deku and Dynamight are on a mission together when feelings come out, messy and sloppy, terrible confessions later hurt and angry they turn away because of their inability to communicate with each other. It goes so far that Deku can not even bring himself to call him Kacchan any more, now calling him Bakugo much to the confusion and concern of their friends and coworkers. Everything changes though when as usual Deku doesn't think and moves, his need to save Kacchan, his Kacchan, driving any and all other thoughts from him, he dies in Bakugo's arms. Hours passed but Bakugo can't move from that spot, on his knees he just holds Deku's limp, lifeless body in his arms. Deku's last words repeating themselves over and over in his head. Tear tracks could be seen by anyone who dared to look at the broken hero in his grief. Suddenly time seems to stop, when he looks up he sees rain floating as if frozen in time, a woman shrouded in a green hood stands in front of him, most of her face covered by her hood, he could only see her mouth and chin. "Do we have a deal, Hero?" She asked her voice closer to bells than that of a woman's. "I have a condition, I can't ever see him die again. Give me his injury and let him live," Bakugo's words hung in the air and a clap of thunder rang in air when before there was none, there was now a flash of lightning above them, also frozen in place.
