I was running in the woods. From what, I did not know, but I had a feeling that it might or might not be good. I looked down and saw that I was in a dress. How I came to be in a dress, I had no idea. I didn't like dresses at all. I could here a small growl behind me and could feel the restlessness of the person, or beast, that had been following me. I could feel the same restlessness also coming from me, well my wolf. I ignored it, however and still I ran. I couldn't figure out why I was running, but I was. I didn't want to be caught by whatever it was that was following me. The thing got in front of me, and I had to jump back before I ran into.... a very large wolf. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, deeper into the woods away from my pack that was chasing me and into the neighboring pack, the Black Moon Pack territory. I ran until I fell into a clearing which turned out to be the front yard of the Black Moon pack Alpha house. I watched them get out their car and come out of the surrounding woods on guard and that was when I saw him. My mate. ---------------------------------- Lena is the Alphas daughter. She is also the pack runt. And when her parents died and her uncle combined his and her packs she starting getting abused because of her Uncle's pack law. The only ones who treat her with love is her friends and her cousins. And when she meets her mate, something happens that will change her entire world. ----------------------------------- Dylan is the Alphas son of the Black Moon pack and when a shifter collapses into his front yard and gets past the guards unseen he's pissed but when he feels that she's his mate he becomes curious and angry at the person who caused the scared look in her eyes and the bruises on her face.

Have you ever wondered if the creatures that lurk in the dark are real? Like vampires or werewolves? Well one of those is I know this because my dads one. Damn right my dads a werewolf but no I'm not. I'm Zarina daughter of the pack leader, half werewolf half wolf, daughter of a wolf, unknown to the world and out cast of my pack. When I was young (12 years of age to be exact) all the girls and boys were turning into wolves for the first time in a cage. Each child was in a cage including me, whilst my friends and classmates screamed in pain I sat there not feeling a thing with my father in wolf form just out side my cage waiting for me to turn, as much as I waited it did not come. The night past and pack members were gathering for a council meeting. Two days past and I was out cast my own father turned his back in me. I was on the street alone as a twelve year old with wolf ears and eyes. That was 2010 five years have past now and I'm being hunted.

I was the unwanted. I was the broken. I was the girl no one wanted to be friends with. I was the one who kept to myself scared of rejection. I was the quietly smart one no one came close to. I was the mate he didn't dare want. She grew up in the pack without friends or support. Her extended family was there for her at a distance. None of the other wolves liked her at all. She was beaten, bruised and nearly killed on a weekly basis. Scars mar her skin. She's not beautiful anymore. They don't understand what it's like to be her. Never will they. Not even her mate.

I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't run any further. My aching paws pounded against the hard ground of the forest as I ran further and further from my packs territory. I looked behind my wolf and saw about five other wolves including a giant black wolf that I'm assuming was the Alpha's. I wasn't to sure though because I'd never actually seen his wolf. In fact, I'd never seen any other wolves apart from my own. During fights I was always locked in a cell in the basement so that I was never at risk of getting hurt or worse, killed. I had to stay alive for the sake of the pack. I kept them together, kept them strong; even if it meant being their punching bag. And that's why I'd never ran away till now. Why? Because I'm an Omega.
