Christabel "Christina" Sitma, known as Red Cobra, never thought that a person from Steve Roger's past would come to haunt her-but she couldn't have been more wrong.

The Avengers saved New York, along with the rest of the world, from an invasion by the alien race called the Chitauri-spearheaded by Thor's brother Loki. With the portable in the sky closed forever, Christina was finally ready to get back to her regular life, or so she thought.

As she continues her affiliation with S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury and Steve Rogers, she starts to struggle with the fact that a past she's never completely known is beginning to resurface in the form of the mask man that single-handled sent her life into a downward spiral from the moment she met him.

But things are about to get a lot worse and a new threat arises.

Questions are raised and loyalties are tested as more and more suspicious things begin to happen within S.H.I.E.L.D., an organization everyone believed to be the safest in the world. Everything that Christina has ever known is torn apart in the matter of seconds.

Her entire life has been one giant lie, and within twenty-four hours, Christina and Steve are burdened with the task of exposing-and defeating-a secret organization that has been blossoming inside S.H.I.E.L.D. for the past seventy-years.

If they fail, the entire world would fall victim.

Then Christina uncovers a long-hidden secret about her true lineage, one that shocks her to the core, and realizes that tragedy may be unavoidable.
