A Legend of Zelda fan fiction. Princess Zelda is engaged to the Gerudo Prince, Ganondorf, though knows that it will only bring Hyrule to destruction. But do her parents care? No, they think that the union between these two countries will be the best for Hyrule. In an attempt to win Zelda over, Ganondorf gives her a personal servant, a slave, named Link. Link soon learns that he has nothing to fear from Zelda and soon starts falling for her, but little does he know that he'll be thrust into the most crazed adventure of his life, one that has the fate of Hyrule hanging on the balance. A classic tale of how a brave knight rose up to defend his kingdom against a powerful and deceptive villain who always has an evil trick up his sleeve and a master plan in mind! Find out how a magical artefact becomes the centre of a grand plot of swords and shields! This story does not take place in any game in the timeline and uses all characters and items in unique ways. The interpretations of the characters are a bit different to how they are portrayed usually in the games. For instance, Link prefers bows to swords and Zelda doesn't go missing for half the story. Ganondorf is a master trickster, always telling lies to manipulate others into doing what he wants. Also, Ganondorf is a very active character who makes an appearance in almost every chapter. There is also always at least 1 fight per chapter so the action is constant! I hope you enjoy this story!

Zelda doesn't believe in soulmates; Zelda barely even believes in herself. That is, until Link turns up with a sword strapped to his back, heralding the end of times. Now, they must work together to prevent the fall of Hyrule and rise of Calamity Ganon. But, the task proves as tricky as expected, especially when Zelda feels like she's falling faster than her Kingdom...and perhaps in a way she never expected to. Pre-game (and post-game, eventually) fic centred around Link's memories and what might've happened in between them.
