Gavin Reed, a 36-year-old detective who has been a part of DPD for a long time, has a boyfriend of 6 months. After 6 months of the peaceful protest led by Markus, public opinion has started to change about androids. People are starting to become more accepting and see them equal as to humans. Apart from some, such as Detective Reed. He can tolerate Connor to some level but that is because of the Lieutenant, who treats him as a son. Who is also his partner for cases and he'd be killed by him. Captain Fowler, has assigned Reed with a new partner due to his lack of work and solving cases for a few months and to manage his behavior. Will Gavin start to respect androids for who they are or will he stay closed off and hostile? -- Started: 16/12/24 Ended:

Detective Reed's just been partnered up with RK900 and things aren't going too well but not for the reasons you may think. The android's taken a liking to the crotchety cop, perhaps too much of a liking. Male on male, now with smut on Ch. 14, 25 and 36!

Gavin still harbors all of his earlier hatred and animosity towards Androids. So, when his new partner is, itself, an Android, he doesn't appreciate it. However, he soon learns just how ruthless and intimidating his new partner is. But, there's a strange softness to his partner that piques his curiosity. As time goes on, Gavin finds himself beginning to like the Android. ⚠️Mature Content⚠️ ✨This story is completed!✨

A Detroit Become Human inspired story. A lot has changed since the revolution. Crimes against androids are now being treated with greater severity, with many being subject to the same penalties as crimes against humans. While anti-android attitudes are on the decline, transforming the mindset of an entire city is no simple task. A reluctant Gavin Reed and his new partner, RK900, have been assigned to investigate a string of disturbing murders. Despite the shift in Detroit's social climate, Gavin still holds reservations about whether or not androids are truly alive. Will his developing feelings for 'Nines' prompt a shift in perspective?

When you had been transferred to a new police station, a prickly human and a stoic android were the last things you had expected to gain from it. Whether they were a burden or an asset, you couldn't be sure at first- but some time together solidifies your thoughts on them and they really aren't as bad as you originally thought. As a group of deviants terrorizes the town, you, Gavin and Nines are the perfect team. Kicking robot (and human) ass and solving crimes together, your adventures couldn't be more amusing. Beneath it all is a blooming relationship as our favourite asshole, Gavin Reed, learns to trust more than just his stupid Tin Can.

Post-revolution, Connor is trying to make amends with Gavin who is scared of the "android sent by cyberlife." As he does so, he figures out a little bit more about Gavin than he anticipated. Including his former hatred for androids, and how it's changed. (Should be obvious I don't own the characters, DBH, or anything but the story line. Requests are accepted if any ) ;)

Gavin Reed hates androids, or so he thought. As time passes he finds himself coming around to the new way of life, getting used to Connor and coming across an RK900 that's not so bad. When that android turns up unexpectedly and becomes both his partner and his belonging Reed finds himself tested more than ever. On top of that there's a string of destroyed android cases piling up on his desk, and he's making little progress by himself. The cases are clearly connected, but the lack of physical evidence is leaving him in an endless spiral. Is he really trying hard enough? Or are his old prejudices clouding his judgement? Maybe all he needs is a second pair of eyes, and a walking talking science lab, to help him out.
