Takes place in the prime!universe. Sonic (and eventually Shadow) run into Eggman (on such a nice day too!) and they battle, but, Eggman has a new trick up his sleeve. That said trick causes Shadow and Sonic some unexpected problems.....like- swapping personality problems. Its up to one little yellow fox to fix this, but can he? Shadow is running through an industrial complex, chasing down Eggman. In the chaos of the confrontation, Eggman traps Shadow in a device that emits a blinding flash. Shadow collapses, unconscious, as Eggman escapes. When he wakes up, Shadow feels an emptiness he can't explain. In another timeline a strange being attacked the universe. A resistance was formed to tried to stop the threat but they were squashed. Only one hedgehog from the resistance survived and needed to protect the remaining of his people. He was told to run away, his worse fear came into mind as he lost his home, his family, and his friends. He ran as fast as he could, the purple streak as he run, he was able to run so fast that he went into another timeline. A timeline where heroes truly exist.

The monsters are real. They roam this land. They terrorize the citizens. No one knows where they came from or how to stop them. That's what (Y/n) is for. She's immune to all the kinds of magic and possessive spells the monsters possess, and she wants to use that power to find a way to drive them out and save Mobius because the people who would have done that are gone. But she knows where they are. Sonic the Hedgehog. Shadow the Hedgehog. Silver the Hedgehog. All of them disappeared when the monsters arrived. Who was going to save them? (Y/n) the (A/t) is a notorious criminal. Usually, Sonic the Hedgehog is busy with the infamous Doctor Eggman, but when he's not, he's hunting her. However, when the mad doctor develops a new weapon that weakens Sonic, (Y/n) saves him from a close call, taking him to the place where the criminals like her dwell. Still suffering from the effects of the weapon, Sonic has no choice but to learn how to survive in a darker world with (Y/n) as his guide.
