In the wake of losing his magic, Feyrith struggles to adapt and survive the new and constant onslaught from the feral jungle beasts, trying to keep himself as well as Sunwood alive. Something unnatural has disturbed the beasts and though it's dangerous, it quickly becomes apparent that the only way to stop this is to form a group and journey to the heart of the jungle to find out the truth behind the issue.

Unknown to Feyrith, another party is headed to the jungle, though for completely different reasons. A group Edwyr's a part of that is looking for a reliable source of magic. He's enjoyed his newfound magic and budding relationship with Wyn, but not all is as it seems, for Wyn is keeping a dark secret from Edwyr about how he'd gained said magic in the first place. A secret that could tear them apart.

As both groups venture into the dark jungle filled with beasts waiting to devour them, they are faced with dangers that go beyond simple animals. But no matter what the jungle throws at them, they must keep going. The fate of the world hinges on it.

Growing up in their sister's shadow wasn't easy; surviving after she left has been harder. In the nine years since their Kingdom was destroyed by the cruel Falcondar family, Kiridan has had two objectives: to stay hidden from the Falcondars, and to figure out why their sister never came back for them. They discover that she started an underground organization to overthrow the Falcondars...and then died three years ago while on a mission in the mountains. Determined to make something of their sister's efforts - and to be recognized as more than the less-talented sibling - Kiridan decides to break into the organization known as the Infernal Uprising, taking their rightful place among its leadership. But as the attack on the Falcondars draws nearer, they'll have to learn that leadership is more than barking orders, and that trust is difficult to earn. When the chaos spirals further than anyone expected, and new powers come into play from every direction, a lot of people may have to reevaluate what they stand for...whether they're an Infernal Uprising soldier, a traitor, or a Falcondar Princess herself. Sure, through the eyes of those in power, the world has always been in conflict. But for the next generation waiting to take over, the conflict is just beginning. And for the rest of the unsuspecting universe, it hasn't even begun. Which came first, the catastrophe or the change? And what's the difference in the first place? ** ONGOING. After escaping from Serrok Castle and the Kingdom of Istamid as a whole, Kaz, Rhenor, and Elaya find themselves marooned on an island after being shot down by people from a town called Rethan-a strange place where no magic can be used. While they mean no harm to Elaya or Rhenor, the same cannot be said for Kaz. As the two do their best to rescue their friend, though, it slowly becomes clear that Rethan's plans for Kaz are much more sinister than they originally seemed. The town hides a dark secret, and it's up to Rhenor and Elaya to make sure Kaz doesn't end up being its latest victim. [word count: ≈ 22 000 words]
