Wings of Fire story! My name is Moon. I live in a world where everyone is tested. From the age sixteen to eighteen. In truth, you test yourself everyday the moment you find out what the world has come to. You test youself wondering if you're strong enough, smart enough, or brave enough. But most of all to see if you will do the right thing in the darkest times. Your eighteenth birthday is the biggest day of your life. The day you find out if you will fight, or die. Fear engulfs your body every waking moment, the very thought of death makes people lose hope, and it almost did for me too. And in those final moments, when you really don't know if you will live, you wonder, is dying now worse than living in something you hate so much. Do I live for something I despise? Nightjar is a hybrid between a nightwing and a mudwing and that doesn't make her life simple at all. She doesn't know who are her true parents and she feels ignorant and empty every day. Her adoptive mother, one day decides to tell her what she knows about her real family but it is not enough for Nightjar. Why did she have not seen at least one time her real father or mother ? If they died, what happened to them ? She needs to find answers to her questions and she will do it her way, the price doesn't matter, because it is her heritage. What she knew was she was determined, but what she didn't was that this adventure would take her to her limit. (Note that this story is based on the universe of Wings Of Fire and doesn't follow the exact chronology of the original story). The wings of fire book series entirely belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is the beginning of the story of a friend group of dragons attending a much more developed and populated version of Jade Mountain Academy. Starting in the Quartz Winglet in the year 5058 A.S., these students live average lives and as the series goes on, things develop and change, mentally and physically for them. I would consider this a Wings of Fire fanfiction, although it's a bit complicated as it's based off of real life. The dragons in this are all my classmates as their Wings of Fire OCs, (meaning some of the OCs aren't mine) or, if they don't know wings of fire and/or don't have an OC, just them as a WoF dragon. Since it's based off of real life, it doesn't have much of a plot, so be prepared for that. This is the first book in the Random Moments of JMA series, and things change as the series goes.
