Antonio "Racetrack" Higgins a 17 year old Newsie in lower Manhattan, New York lives in the lodging house along with his pals Jack Kelly, Davey Jacobs, Crutchie Morris and every other Manhattan Newsie, it was until he got into a scrape where he saw this unfamiliar girl dressed in Brooklyn Red, he's never seen her before until his leader Jack told him he needed to speak with the King of Brooklyn, Spot Conlon about the Newsies Strike after some convincing he went and surprisingly met that same girl (Y/N) Conlon who was the little sister of Spot, who he was supposed to fear but actually fell in love with. From being followed, to stargazing, to a bad fight, to a lot more that later happens to Mr. Racetrack Higgins and Ms. (Y/N) Conlon.

Jaime Kelly, also known as "Books", is the leader of the Lower Manhattan Newsies. She loves her Newsies like they're her family. Every 8 Days she goes to see her best friend, Spot, the "King of Brooklyn". Everything seems to be going pretty normal until one day when she and her brother, Jack, start a strike against "The World". But what happens when memories of her past starts to resurface? And what happens when she makes a bet with " King Idiot" that in 8 days he could get her to say 8 letters? Note: ALL CHARACTERS MENTIONED IN THE 1992 FILM BELONG TO DISNEY. I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS EXCEPT FOR JAIME AND ANY OTHER CHARACTERS NOT MENTIONED IN THE NEWSIES 1992 FILM!

During the newsboys strike of 1899, Ciara Ryan is welcomed into the newsie family. Ciara puts herself to the test, determined to help strike leader Jack Kelly out in any way possible. However, her plans become shaken up when she begins to fall for the cocky king of Brooklyn- Spot Conlon. #1 in Strike #5 in SpotConlon **Disclaimer** I do not own nor take credit for any of the original Newsies. It's been over a year since the strike has settled and the newsies haven't had any problems with Pulitzer since. But that's not to say that they didn't all have problems outside of work. Jack and Katherine were unhappy together. They didn't feel the love towards each other that they used to feel. Yet they were too scared to say something to one another. Crutchie wanted for his long-time crush to love him back, although he knew that would never happen. Still, one could dream. Davey and Les's father had been severely injured by an incident at work. He wasn't so lucky this time around and passed away due to blood loss. This drove their mother into a state of insanity, forcing Davey and Les to pack up their things and leave. They now live on the streets with their fellow newsies, struggling to support themselves just like every other newsie. Their lives were still pretty crappy and hopeless, but hey, they were still alive and that was what mattered. Then, a new kid shows up at the gates of The World and sends their lives into chaos once more.

NOTE: CURRENTLY UNDERGOING REVISION! Twilight Eventide is a 15 year old girl who has a temper, a bad temper. That's where she got her name, Tempest. She is a real good fighter and can take care of herself pretty well. When she was 5, her parents were taken away and murdered, therefore she had to run away and ended up in Manhattan, for everyone thought she was the one that did it. Jack Kelly, who became her unofficial brother, took her in after a few years and brought her up to fight and sell papers. She has no need to dress up as a boy, being herself is much more intimidating. Tempest cannot do anything and thinks there should be more excitement in her boring dull New York life. Spot is the feared newsie leader from Brooklyn. He is known as a big womanizer, but he hasn't found "the one" yet. Right now he is with a girl named Livia, a greedy shirtwaist factory girl. He is a pretty good leader for Brooklyn, his cane that he stole from Pulitzer and his slingshot are his main weapons. Being intimidating has always been his way to get people to do what he wants, but it doesn't work on Tempest, not one bit. As they meet, will these two powerful newsies clash? Or will they be able to tolerate each other, at least until the end of the strike? (I do not own any Newsies Characters except the ones that I made up!)

A Newsie's Fanfic about life after the strike. Janet never had a last name, a family, or anything but hardships. So she decides the only way tpmake a difference in her life is to make it herself. She is convinced there's no way she can do that wearing a dress and sipping tea.So she naturally gravitates to the center of Manhattan. Out of money and broke she resorts to selling papes with the infamous Newsies. She soon realizes however that the great Newsies strike of 1889 wasn't everything it was said to be, promises are still being broken and amends and justice to the Newsies were never truly served. Can she save the Newsies and keep her true identity a secret? Or will a developing fancy for Jack Kelly the great ruin her once and for all?

Nickels. The word could mean a lot. It could mean the metal, that was almost impossible to break. It could mean the coin that was worth a pretty penny. It also could mean the coin, that if you weren't careful with, could slip through your fingers and down the gutter. It could also mean one of the most feared newsies in all of New York.
