Rose and Terzo. The childhood best friends who were destined for each other; everyone could see it.

But their seemingly unbreakable bond was shattered, and the friendship they swore would last a lifetime crumbled amidst the struggles of their teenage years. After a failed romance, the two of them went their separate ways. Rose was a high-flying scholar, studying multiple degrees in her home town of France. Whilst the death of Terzo's mother left him a hollow, empty shell of the man he used to be.

Now reunited by duty, Rose returns to the ministry not just as his assistant- but volunteering as his pretend Prime Mover. As they return to his mother's abandoned villa in Sicily, where they once spent sun-drenched summers as children, the past unearths old memories, buried grief, and love that might not have died after all.
