I gasped staring wide eye at Carl as he pressed my body against the kitchen counter. He trapped me in his arms and his cold blue eyes stared into my grey ones. He seemed angry and-confused? He cursed under his breath and he pressed his face to the space of my neck. He clenched his hands into fists and hit the counter in fusteration. I whinched and I felt afraid of what he might do next.
