❝The calm in my marrow spoke in muted bursts of fireworks. I was born for explosions and trying to be less.❞ Over the past decade, I've written poems, books, short stories, fanfiction and hundreds of thousands of words, but nothing felt complete. This collection of selected works was meant to be my final offering- the only thing ready for posthumous publication. Blood Orange Periphery includes poems written in the months preceding the end-that-didn't-happen, some of my best teenage scribbles, and journal entries that chronicle the transition from death-planning to recalibrating life.

Life is as intense as you want it to be. People in it will bring either tremendous joy or an unbearable pain. She could heal in revenge, hell being her home. But healing through words is the only way of keeping her sanity. Covering the shades of black and white with a thin gray line has never helped anyone before, but painting all those hurtful moments in colors had made the world a better place to live in: resentments under a rug of a smile. Just like a [kodachrome], colorful and vivid in an era filled with sadness. Poetry, short stories, and thoughts. *Mostly fictional with some bases on past, real situations. He took my both hands in his , slowly caressing them as his gaze met mine. I wondered how he could be so calm in such a situation. "You don't have to marry me. I don't want to be a burden on someone." , I muttered as I slowly averted my gaze from him. " I need you in my life, Miraya. And to answer your question, you will never be a burden on me. NEVER."I quickly looked at him. And to be by his side for this past one hour felt like he was healing something inside me. Something he has never broken. His words seemed odd. And still they were enough to assure me to trust him with my life. "Why?" "I need an heir for my family and your child needs a father. No one will know about this except us. Okay?" ☆ ★ ✮ ★ ☆ Miraya Agnihotri married her bestfriend's only cousin brother, the billionaire Raghav Singhania, to provide a father to her unborn child, and an heir to his family. She had struggled all her student life to fund her education and find jobs to make ends meet for her family, only to never get the love she deserved from them.
